There is no elevator, and we were on the 2nd floor. The doors are very thin, so we heard every word of many conversations.

Hotel was kind of dated. There was a chain lock on the door. The soap dish was in the middle of the shower. It kept poking me in my back and side when I moved. There was a lot of trash in the hallway by the steps. Staff were friendly. Lobby was cozy. The water in the sink got really hot but not in the shower. There was a nice selection for breakfast.

The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating with my request to check in a little early. Hotel was very clean and so was my room. The bed was uncomfortable but I was only here for 1 night so it was bareable. Easy parking and breakfast smelled good.

As a woman traveling solo, I felt especially safe at this location. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so quiet on Labor Day weekend. I would only make one request, And that is to improve the breakfast quality.

Sufficient for a one-night stay while moving my child into McDaniel College. The cleanliness was not the best and the fixtures/paint seemed old and in need of a refresh. There was no elevator so you have to walk the stairs to the second floor. I don't think I would stay here again, would probably be worth the 25 minute drive to stay at a little nicer hotel.
