LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS HOTEL! Chiado is a great area to stay in. Definitely touristy --but I loved the convenience of being able to walk out the door and find food, coffee, pastries and a change bureau easily. Central to all the famous Lisbon city sights. The front dest staff is so accommodating. We arrived early and needed double beds. They upgraded us and we had a beautiful room (#716) with a balcony. Great rooftop bar with fabulous view of city. Highly recommend.

This is my go to place whenever I am in Lisbon. I love the staff which are amazing, friendly, and always eager to assist. I love the location which is surrounded by shopping, great places to eat and drink. Overall I would recommend anyone visiting Lisbon to try Hotel do Chiado. Highly recommend it!

Hotel do Chiado was the perfect stay for our first time in Lisbon. The location is fantastic - just off the metro line and in the center of the city. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were extremely clean, up-to-date and had beautiful views of the city. The restaurant was phenomenal and the daily breakfast was so good! It was the perfect way to start each day. I would HIGHLY recommend Hotel do Chiado to anyone staying in Lisbon.

The people, property, and location were all beyond what we had hoped for. Amazing views from 7th floor rooms and terrace bar. Great location - above a metro station and well situated to all tourist areas. The staff were all very nice and the room was very spacious. We had a very quintessential European juliette balcony which was very sweet.

Lovely hotel
A lovely hoyel...with service second to none. Staff were very attentive from the reception through to housekeeping. Could not have been better. Location is amazing although v busy. Great soundproofing as no real noise at night. Would thoroughly recommend.

Variable service levels - great location and views
Great location and view from our premium rooms probably best in Lisbon. Really nice rooms (apart from smell in ours). Checkin not so good and service levels were not great. One of our rooms smelt of stale cigarettes. We pointed it out to the hotel. They didn’t seem that concerned. Reception let us down through much of our stay. - unable to recommend a restaurant (wanted to avoid the tourist traps that are infamous in the area) - iron took over half an hour to come to our room - so we were not able to get changed for our evening meal otherwise would have missed our reservation - wasn’t told that airport transfer had to be paid in cash to driver (lucky had euros) - left a bottle of wine in our room as a welcome gift (thank you) - we said we don’t drink alcohol it was removed and nothing given in its place - our welcome drink was a choice of orange juice or glass of water - as we don’t drink alcohol. - tea / coffee was self service at breakfast - but seemed to be plenty of staff to bring it to you. - pork sausages were in same dish as other food so we’re unable to eat as we don’t eat pork The welcome drink issue and smell in the room were eventually resolved but only after I made a fuss - which I should not have to do in what is meant to be an excellent hotel. I want to thank the reception staff for the service but I wish I didn’t have to complain so much to get it.

Very good central location. We loved our terrace that had a great view of St George’s Castle and the surrounding hillside. The staff were excellent and gave us a tiny bottle of port as a parting gift and had pasteis de natas in our room as a welcome gift upon arrival. Could not recommend this hotel more!
