We stayed in two very nice rooms in this beautiful boutique hotel. It was a fantastic discovery — a real gem, a treasure — with a lovely garden and splash pool and great funky chic decor. Wonderful!

Arriving at the hotel from the airport, we found nobody at the desk even though the sign on the door stated someone should be there until 7:00 pm. After finally getting a hold of someone on the phone, they informed us they cancelled our reservation due to over booking. Take note that we booked mid December for our February 21st stay. No phone call or text to inform us, just an email sent to us at 5:40 pm that day (while we were in transit from the airport). Terrible, just terrible. Don’t stay here. The property is marginal and the communication and treatment from the hotel is terrible.

I arrived late and unfortunately only stayed for one night as was travelling north from the airport. The hotel was quaint and full of character, beautifully clean and well appointed. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

We had a lovely stay and made to feel very welcome, the staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and rooms were very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge to keep cold drinks in, we would highly recommend it to family and friends and would definitely stay there again in the future, well done to all involved in running a great hotel

Wish we had more time to spend.
The hotel is amazing. Room was very comfortable. It was nice walking around the grounds. Good neighborhood with excellent bakery down the block. We appreciate the welcome gift. We had to leave early to catch a flight and didn't have a chance to try it, but breakfast looked impressive. An great stay and a tremendous value. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Portugal.
