Location: great location, close to everything. Rossio train station is 5 minutes walk
Groceries that you can grab some drink or snack is on the back road from Rossio station to hotel.
Restaurant cafe and main attractions are all in walkable distance.
Cleanliness: the room was nice, clean and comfort. Shower room has basic amenity (such as shower gel&shampoo, shower cap, hair dryer but other amenity like toothbrush, toothpaste you will need to prepare yourself which I think it become new standard for most 3 stars hotel after COVID and this is not really bother me.
Noise: even though hotel locate in the main tourist area but at night time there is no noise that disturb you from street. However, the noise from next room could get though the wall but acceptable level for me.
Check in: It was ok. We arrive earlier than check in time so the room was not ready. Staff help to keep the bags and inform that they will put the bags in the room once it ready.
One point though the hotel advertise that there are complimentary egg tart and port wine at arrival by reception. The staff who took our bag when we arrive inform that they will give out egg tart and port once we back to get the key which there is no offer when we return.
For us it doesn’t matter because we already have so much food while we out and wait for the room to be ready. However, for other that might expect it could be a bit of down point for first impression.
