Welcome to the Wild Rose Cabin. We are nestled on twenty acres on the banks of the Yellowstone River in beautiful Paradise Valley, Montana – just 35 miles north of Yellowstone National Park and 14 miles south of the historic town of Livingston. A stay at the Wild Rose Cabin offers a peaceful, hospitable and warm retreat with access to many outdoor activities such as hiking, snow skiing, rafting, horseback riding, and fishing. Construction of the cabin was completed in July of 2013. Cabin Features: Spacious living room w/fireplace, love seat and sofa-sleeper (sleeps 2). Full Kitchen (range and four burner cooktop, microwave, full sized refrigerator, full-sized kitchen table. Two bedrooms each with Queen beds. One Full Bathroom/Shower. Laundry with full sized washer and dryer. Outdoor gas grill with picnic table. Walking access to the Yellowstone River (200 feet). Private One-Acre Pond catch and release only. Exceptional Views of the Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone River. The Yellowstone River is a pristine blue ribbon trout fishing destination for anglers around the world, while our one-acre pond attracts deer, geese, osprey, trumpeter swans and other wildlife. Featuring multiple fishing locations around both the Wild Rose Pond and Yellowstone River.

Museums: Historic Livingston offers visits to three museums.
Geysers at Yellowstone Park: The mud pools and geysers at Yellowstone park are the largest and greatest number of hydrothermal features on the surface of the Earth. Old Faithful erupts approximately every 60-90 minutes. You can view the live webcam of Old Faithful.
Wildlife at Yellowstone National Park: The park has the largest population of mammals in the lower 48 states and offers views of numerous wildlife including elk, grizzly and black bears, bison, moose, wolves, trumpeter swans, pelicans, osprey (seasonal) and eagles.
Golfing: The Livingston golf course is a 15 minute drive from the Wild Rose Cabin.
Whitewater Rafting on the Yellowstone River: Yellowstone offers some great rapids for rafting with class I-V rapids for the beginner to the expert. If you’re a novice to rafting be sure to book a trip with a trained guide with one of the many local rafting companies.
Hiking: Paradise Valley and offers literally thousands of miles of hiking trails into the surrounding Absaroka and Gallatin mountains and Yellowstone National Park. The peaks of the Absaroka’s rise to more the 10,000 feet above sea level or more than one mile above the valley floor. Higher elevations offer spectacular views of the valley floor and surrounding area.
Fishing: The Yellowstone and surrounding rivers offer blue ribbon trout fishing opportunities. Anglers from around the world travel to the area for some of the best fly fishing in the lower 48 states.
Hunting: The area surrounding the Wild Rose Cabin offers some of the best big game hunting in the lower 48 states. Horseback Riding: Many of the trails in Paradise Valley can be traversed on horseback. You can ride for an hour or an entire day with one of the many available local guides. Archaeology: Artifacts from the Native Americans who lived in the area can be found at numerous nearby locales. Fossils of animal species from previous times can be found for the interested.
Rodeo: A rodeo is hosted in the nearby town of Livingston (16 miles away) in the days leading up to Independence Day (July 4). See cowboys from Montana and surrounding western states compete in riding bulls, horses, roping calves and more.
