If youā€™re used the Marriott brand standards, this is a bit scaled down. I was thrown by the can of insecticide left in the room for guest use. But still a lovely property.

Beautiful and comfortable stay for 2 nights. The only thing that people should be aware of is the amount of mosquitos and bugs that might also show up in rooms. The hotel offers mosquito nets and bug spray, it's just a bit of an adjustment to handle that part.

Our stay was awesome because the hotel is like a boutique hotel and all the staff are excellent from the front desk to the cleaners Maintenance and of course the waiters. I must give praise to the 2 barmen Dominic and Jerome who provided the most excellent service thorghout our stay . Our thanks also go to the tours and trips we took thanks to the in-house travel shop We will definitely be back soon 5 star experience

The overall stay was descent. The hotel staff are extremely professional and go the extra mile in ensuring you have a pleasant stay. I would like to raise that the standards of offerings in the breakfast buffet was really not up to standards. I was fortunate to visit Protea Hotel Ndola a day after my stay at the Protea Hotel Livingstone and I met a completely different Service Standards. The breakfast had a vast variety of options and for a hotel that is of the same brand to see such a great gap in its service I would like to think that it was just a one time thing and thereā€™s a great breakfast menu available to all Protea Hotels ( Bonvoy Marriott). Overall the stay was descent.
