Nice cottage in Sjöhagen 1.2 km from Bolmstad Säteri by Lake Bolmen. The lake is on of biggest lakes in Sweden and offers both good fishing and bathing opportunities.
The accommodation has an open terrace including an outdoor room with a lake view of Lake Bolmen. You can rent a boat and place it in the harbor of Bolmstad Säteri in front of your cottage. In addition, there is a final cleaning fee for SEK 2000 per visit, including SEK 4,50 per kWh for the electricity you use during your stay.
There is sandy beach in Sjöhagen not far away from the house. At Bolmstad, Säteri also has a common sauna, free to use. Bolmstad Säteri rents out a boat of 13 feet and engines of 5 hp (boat for SEK 1,000 / week and engine for SEK 1,500 / week).
At Bolmstad harbor there is a boat ramp and a waffle café in summer. From Bolmstad has no god on the flight day at Valja Bland. Why not take opportunity and go by car to the island of Bolmsö and then drive further via the ferry to Sunnaryd. A tip is to visit Tiraholms Fisk that has among other things delicacies such as smoked fish.
I Ljungby there is plenty of sights and activities. Visit the Museums Sagomuseet and the Sven Ljungberg museet. Stroll around Gamle Torg among shops, restaurants and cafés. Here are the city's oldest buildings and the square gives a sense of how Ljungby looks during the 19th century.
If you want to see moose during your holiday stay, you have come to the right place! In Hamneda you can pay a visit to Elinge Älgpark and feed moose. Other moose parks in the area are Smålandet and at Laganland moose park.
