Wye Riverside Lodge

Our listing offers the comforts of home with a twist of self-sufficiency and adventure. Visiting this unique setting promises serene ambience, with a singularly unique olde bridge toll as your haven. The space has been refurbished inside and out to bring it up to scratch for a contemporary character. The riverbank is privately accessible via a stepped path, and is undoubtedly best when the weather prevails! If the odds aren’t so favourable, then cwtch up by our wood burning stove on the sofa!
The space
We have an extensive garden area with fire pit, and excellent river side features including stunning views and private access to the riverbank. There are two BBQs and a gas stove, including related items. There’s a hot camping shower at the secluded end of the garden, overlooking the river. The lodge itself features an open plan layout, with spectacular riverfront patio views externally. Plenty of space and light underpin an ambience which has to be experienced to be believed!
Guest access
Access is self-contained within the perimeter of the lodge and garden, all of which is delineated by the river Wye and surrounding greenery.

Parking for multiple cars is easily accessible via a quiet B road, leading to the lodge free of obstructions.

An outstanding property in an outstanding part of Wales. I love the property and would be quite happy living there. Sadly I was only there for three nights. I stayed when it was very cold and I didn't mind the outside toilet but the shower was another matter on a cold morning. I would love to experience this in the summer months. I am very jealous, I would love to call it my home. The host was very helpful and is always on hand if needed. The scenery around you was beautiful. There are fields all around you and this time of the year they were full of new lambs. So from the property you could hear the lambs and the river Wye rumbling past. Truly a magical place. experience tsummer like
