Excellent property, very quiet location with truly spectacular views. Easy communication with owner and minor problem with heating sorted immediately. Although the weather does not form part of the contract, we only had one day of rain. Only advice is - don't follow the last little bit of sat-nav route unless you are in something like a Hummer! (There is a sign at the entrance to the 'track' to this effect)

Amazing place, crazy sunset!🌆
A wonderful place, magical views. The place was clean, well stocked, and we loved every minute of it. We could seriously spend the entire day outside on the balcony - and we did. The weather was magnificent. It seems like the area has its own weather ecosystem - a bit warmer than the rest of the surrounding area. 🙂 truly a great family friendly place!

Stunning views, lovely house
We loved our stay- the house has amazing views over the marina, across to Mull and to Jura. It’s our 4th visit to the area and this was definitely the nicest house we have stayed in. It’s very spacious, relaxing, modern, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Did I mention the views? Very hard to leave.

Lovely house but too hot
We really enjoyed our stay. To make things even better May I suggest new fluffier towels, cotton bed covers and adjustable heating controls in the house.

Beautiful view!
Nice place on a hill overlooking the bay. Many times we would just sit upstairs or at the table and relax, watching the boats. Very roomy. Large eat in kitchen if you want to cook. My only real complaint is the water. It smells like fish. I imagine it's safe to drink.... the restaurant, Lord of the Isles, which was very good, served us the same smelling water. Just know that showering in it, if you're not used to it, is unpleasant and to bring drinking water with you. Carnasserie Castle is 8.4 miles south. Amazing castle you can explore on your own. A little further is the Nether Largie standing stones and Ballymeanoch Henge. All of this is free and when we went (May '23) we were the only people there. The owner is not on site, but very nice and although we had a bit of a hiccup, she took care of it immediately and even helped us out with a problem we had with lost luggage. Don't hesitate to reach out to her.

Relaxing stay in a property with stunning views.
An excellent four-bedroom property which is well equipped and very comfortable. We had some minor niggles: The detail directions refer to the final turn being at a T junction - we arrived seperately in 3 vehicles and all went straight down past the turning. It would be much clearer if defined as taking the right fork onto the track. The toaster did not work adequately. The garage door raising mechanism would not work.. These did not detract from an enjoyable stay.

The property is fabulous - immaculate and very well equipped. Spacious with very comfortable bedrooms, sitting rooms and a great kitchen. The viewing area on the landing was a great bonus. Three teenagers struck dumb by the amazing views wad another lovely bonus. The surrounding area is beautiful and only twenty minutes in to the lovely city of Oban. Rain was predicted all week but actually it was sunny every day. I can't recommend this house and area enough. Thank you Gillian for letting us stay there.

Stay at Taigh Nam Broc
The house is in the most beautiful location and the views are simply stunning. The house is lovely but there are some aspects that require refurbishment (bathrooms and decking area). The outside seating was inadequate which was a shame as we had good weather while we were there. No welcome message or checking in from the owners while we were there either.

Gorgeous airy and spacious house with spectacular views
We’ve had the most fabulous week in Taigh Nam Broc. It’s a great location to explore the west coast of Scotland. The house is brilliantly equipped , with a great array of pans and cooking equipment. A cooks dream. The bbq is great and space to eat outside and in and is perfect for big family gatherings. There are some fabulous walks from the doorstep and a trip out on the Jenny Wren with Barry is highly recommend. More than anything, the view is stunning. The local pub is good and friendly, but we didn’t manage to eat there as they get booked up super fast , so book well ahead. Our friends who had their boat in the marina said the food is delicious. Gillian answered all our questions and was really helpful. Would book again!

Fantastic family getaway
This place was even better than expected. Admittedly we were helped with exceptional weather for early March, but even in worse conditions this place is perfect for a family holiday. Kitchen, living room, dining room and deck are all very spacious. Bedrooms have lots of space too (2 en suite and an extra bathroom with shower). Our kids also made use of the ping pong in the basement room, and we enjoyed the huge landing with panoramic views. Location is great, including for those traveling with smaller kids, since even the little walk around Craobh Haven itself is fun for all. Not many places in this part of Scotland have such great views, from Jura right up to Mull. Local bar/restaurant are an easy (5-10 mins) walk down the hill. We'll definitely try to come back here.

Stayed with my family, seven of us aged 19 to 92. This lovely airy house meant that we could all stay together without being on top of each other. But best of all is the location and the view, which is absolutely fantastic, better than the photographs can convey. We really enjoyed ourselves!
