A beautiful Cabin, built for privacy, on a scenic dead-end lane, 1 1/2 Miles from Old Man's Cave in the Hocking Hills.

It has 2 Private Queen Bedrooms. Perfect for Couples or Small Families!

Hunter's Retreat is a cozy, 2-Bedroom Cabin, along a forested road, in the Hocking Hills.

It sleeps up to 4 guests, with 2 Private Queen Bedrooms and a Full Bath, with Shower Tub, plus linens and towels provided.

It has a Fully equipped kitchen, with a coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans and utensils.

The Back Deck has a 4-Person Hot Tub, overlooking the wooded property.

Adorable in the Woods Cabin
Beautiful up to date, 2 bedroom, cabin with all the amenities of home, including Wi-Fi. We loved the whole experience of staying off the beaten track and having to drive back into the woods, while we were hiking in Hocking Hills. Definately would stay here again.

Perfect getaway weekend
We loved hunters retreat. My sister and I met there for a pampering weekend. We hiked and had some good meals but mostly just enjoyed the cabin (and that great hot tub). It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The only thing that was odd was there was no phone in case of emergency. We knew there was no internet or Wi-Fi but there was an emergency number but no way to use it in case. Otherwise, great!

Great little cabin to stay at. 7 minutes from Old Man's cave. Everything was great except that there was quite a big storm, and we lost power for a few hours, and due to the remoteness of the cabin, there was no way to contact anyone.

Beautiful cabin! Definitely a great place to get away and relax! No service through Verizon but the cabin does have WiFi so we could still contact our kids back home 👍Great experience hiking some trails, only 5 minutes from Old Man's cave. Hot tub is a great bonus!

Perfect woodsy getaway
This cabin was perfect for our small group of 4. The two bedrooms are set up exactly the same and the bathroom is conveniently located between the two. The beds were comfortable and plenty of closet space to hang clothes. We really enjoyed the indoor fireplace when it was chilly on the first night we stayed, and the wrap around deck overlooking the woods was perfect for our morning coffees. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and it was clean, stayed hot and was roomy. There was enough parking for 3-4 cars and the drive into town was about 15-20 min. The state park was only 5 min away. Highly recommend Ole Dutch, an Amish buffet. We will return!

Great Stay!
We had a wonderful time on our Hocking Hills vacation. I have stayed in many places in the area and this was a favorite, for sure. It was sparkling clean and had lots of nice amenities. We used the kitchen for most meals and it had almost all we needed. (bring your own seasonings) We had rainy and cold weather so we definitely utilized the super clean hot tub! Even the kids enjoyed it, to my surprise. The fireplace was nice post-hot tub too. There is no internet, which was well communicated by he host. It did however make looking up local info a little more difficult, naturally. But it was nice for the kids to give their devices a rest. Bring cards and board games! We did and had a great time. I am picky about my sleep and found the beds to be pretty comfortable. The nighttime noise takes a little getting used to for the kiddos- a sound machine is recommended if you have little ones. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

A Gorgeous Get Away
First off, extremely clean. Quaint, private and as advertised, hot tub was clean, beds were clean. My girlfriend and i are bartenders and wanted a couple days away, the cabin was our vacation. Bring some movies and a speaker but a really nice cabin we'll be back for sure.

I recommend bringing…
I loved the stay at the hunters retreat, it was just my husband and I. We just wanted to get away after the holiday's. The mattress were a little rough and could use an upgraded and I would definitely recommend bringing blankets from home. I would also recommend bringing towels. If you like wood fireplace’s they have one but we didn’t use it and you will need to bring wood with you. Not a bad like cabin to stay at if you are just looking to get away.

10/10 recommend! Everything in the description is spot on and then some! We stopped at Coffee Emporium, and went to Old Man’s Cave and visited the antique mall on our way out of town. Everyone is SO kind. Save this cabin to your favorites - you won’t regret it!

Hunters Retreat Cabin
The cabin is in an amazing location! Close to everything. The only negative point was the fireplace didn't have a working screen protector. It was all broken and didn't close easily. We didn't want to leave a fire unattended while enjoying the hot tub. However, we wanted a fire for when we came in from the cold. Other than that, everything was good.
