really nice rooms, very quick and convenient service, check in on your phone and then your phone is your room key! so don’t have to bother queing for check in etc, makes the whole experience really quick and easy and our room was ready 4 hours before check in so we could just go in which was great!! would stay here again no questions!

Hotel is a bit dated and was extremely crowded in the lobby and cafeteria at all times which made check in a bit hectic and breakfast onsite out of the question. Luggage storage rooms were at times completely full and unavailable. Rooms are small but usable. Convenient location walking distance to shops, restaurants, park, etc.

No A/C poor air ventilation
No AC, one very weak “circulating air” fan was provided and it was hard to sleep at night no further accommodations regarding heat/lack of air besides a second old fan. Good room space, but we had trouble sleeping at night due to heat and the window opens just a tiny crack with the blinds needing to be open all the way in order to ventilate so you choose privacy or air.

Well Priced and clean hotel in Central London
I didn’t go to London to be confined to a hotel room. But the room had all of the basic essentials. It had quite ample enough space, which was meticulously cleaned every day. For a prime location in Central london, I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel at all.

Excellent 2 Night Stay
The hotel, part of a larger hotel (Royal National Hotel) is situated a 5 minute walk from Russell Square Underground station. The hotel is spotlessly clean, very airy with lots of great features; bar, restaurant, car parking, mini shop, luggage store. The multi-national staff are all so friendly, happy and very willing to help in any way. Our room, although designed for a person with disabilities, had everything that we needed. It was spacious, comfortable bed, TV, safe, ironing board & iron and electric fan as the room is not air conditioned. The room does not have a fridge and the windows, which open, are not double glazed. However, the road adjacent to the entrance is not overly busy. Breakfast is £15 per head, which may seem a lot, but you would probably more going out to eat. The breakfast was certainly plentiful and a varied selection of foods and drinks were available. The orange juice is always a gauge for quality, and The City Sleeper breakfast is certainly quality. We did not use the bar or the restaurant during our stay, so cannot pass comment. Overall, our stay was excellent.

We arrived from Euston, a 10 minute walk. We were early for check in but asked anyway and we were able to check in earlier than stated. The room was plenty big enough for 2 adults, a super king size bed and the bathroom was big enough. Lovely walk in shower. Most importantly; clean! The staff were welcoming and there is plenty staff available if needed. The breakfast buffet is great value for money, very attentive staff. The room was warm (it is summer!) there was a tower fan in the room - were British it’s what were used to and it did the trick. Will absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
