Horrible room
If the room had been clean and didn't smell of old cigarette smoke then it would of been okay enough to stay for the full duration I paid for but it wasn't Upon entering the room I was greeted with the smell of damp and old cigarette smoke, when I looked around the room I found blood stains on the dial of the radiator, the wallpaper was falling off the wall and there was damp and mold around the shower in the bathroom. I also found stains all over the floor, the TV remote did not work and I could hear every sound coming from both rooms next to mine and in the corridor The only saving grace was the blackout curtains which allowed me to catch up on some sleep after not being able to all night

Islington green / Angel.
Friendly staff, clean environment, 24hr reception. Basic rooms. Wifi, t.v. tea & coffee. Etc. Very good location. Room only no ither facilities at this hotel. Daily house keeping. Fresh towels and bedding.

This is a good price for a very well situated accomodation. Very small room, but has all you need. Good shower. Very thin walls, could hear person next door on his phone, and the person he was speaking to, room was very hot. Cleaner was bashing about with a hoover at 8.45 am outside in corridor and in room next door. Seemed a bit unnecessary given check out at 11 and check in at 12. Would stay again as location good for me. Does the job. Do t expect luxury, but it doesn’t offer it.

I booked for one night, I rang to let them know what time I'd be arriving to check it was ok. I was told the desk was manned 247. When I arrived no one was there and no one was answering the phone either. It was late, I was exhausted and all I needed was somewhere safe to rest. I was stood outside for 20ish mins, football fans were waiting to get in too. I was the only woman, on my own, on the street not knowing. There was no sign with information as to where he had gone. (He had gone to the shops). The room was fine enough.

Rooms are small and bathrooms are smaller but if you just need somewhere to put your head down for the night, this will do quite nicely. I used it twice this summer when going to concerts and it did the job perfectly.

It was great for getting into the capital. The only thing we didn't like was that the room was like a shoe box. We stayed this week so it was absolutely boiling hot in the room as it was so small

Pictures doesn’t match reality! It’s like from 1890s. Smell weird. Not even worth half of the money i paid. No sound isolation i mean you can hear anyone passing in the corridor.

Had to change room as was that small,next room was a little bigger but the shower room was dirty,mould all over shower bottom,black hairs on tiles my daughter asked for some bleach so she could clean it before I used it.

Could be so much better..
The excellent staff could not really make up for the inadequacies in my room alas. The shape of the room meant that floor space was lost as bed was pushed into a triangular corner. The shower cubicle was old and grubby and the cubicle doors really only appropriate for a malnourished child. Suggestion: make bathroom a wet room! Kettle flex was not able to reach plug and meant tea/coffee making was a trip hazard. Gap in curtains allowed light to shine direct in face. Great location, good staff but disappointing experience
