I read the other reviews. So I wasn’t surprised to find that this hotel was quirky. The staff were all lovely and it was clean. However, there were odd things. Like we had a big bathtub in the one bedroom apartment but it only had cold water. The shower was fine, but I tried to have a bath and found it was only cold. Also, the bedroom window kept sliding down from the top because the latch was broken. So I had to use a coat hanger to hold it up. Not major things, but between those and the 42 steps up to our room, it may not be a good choice for all. Still, I would stay again because of the location and wonderful staff.

Decent hotel . Great location. Reasonable rate
Excellent location . Hotel room very small . The bathroom was decent for Europe standards . No elevator . Very hard when you have a big luggage . The frond dest was nice enough to help to carrying to second floors otherwise we was never make it . ( aroud atleast 30 steps or more ) . I think this is the most reasonable rate hotel in central london you can find . We're very happy with the location not sure come back .

The hotel was in a good location for the theatre district, very walkable. All staff we came across were friendly. The breakfast was very good and cooked to order. The only thing i noticed in the room itself was that i thought it looked like the paint needs freshening up to brighten the room. A tea kettle provided and a plus they let you store bags on check out day , while you are still sight seeing.

We loved that this hotel had a suite that could accomodate us and our three children. The staff was courteous, accommodating, and even when we had a mishap with some of our items being misplaced, the issue was addressed and our items located.

Hotel is in need of serious updates. There were leaks and cracks in ceilings and carpet were worn so thin you could see wood underneath in many spots. Positives - lots of space for a family of four. Beds were sleepable after a log day of sightseeing, towels super thin. Hotel markets AC as amenity but it is not available in apartments. Asked for fans and had to argue to get an additional one for kids sleeping area. Would be fine to open windows but there are no screens and bugs got in. No lifts and stairs are narrow. Good area, close to theater district, breakfast was pleasant. Left a small necklace behind and they will not ship to me in the states. If any Americans traveling there soon and would ship to me once back home I would be most appreciative and compensate for all shipping and inconveniences. Thank you!

Great Hotel and location
We were really happy with this hotel, it does need some modernising the room was quite dated but it was clean and comfortable, had a decent sized tv and air conditioning unit in the room, tea coffee and a bottle of water provided. We stayed in a triple room at ground floor level at the front of the hotel, I was concerned about the noise level we might experience from the road but it really wasn’t an issue at all. We were all impressed with the free breakfast options, cereals and yoghurts and hot breakfast cooked to order was really good. The hotel was ideally situated for everything we came to London for, a 15 min walk from Euston station and a short walk to the tube and Covent Garden. We had a great stay here and would happily book again xx

Good value stay in a handy location
An older style building - town house conversion I imagine (thin and tall) ideally situated a short walk from Tottenham Court Rd Tube and a stone's throw from the British Museum. Room was a good size as was the bathroom, plenty of storage and the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast excellent. Also a good value stay for such a prime location. Some of the fittings and decor looked a bit tired in places and the shower felt a bit lacklustre. There was also some late and early traffic noise - but then this is central London. I used this as an overnight stay after being on an evening event and it was ideal for that.
