Quiet and comfortable stay
Nice hotel, very quiet, comfortable size room and bed. It is a lower budged hotel, do keep that in mind. With that said, all affords were made to make it comfortable. It's a bit run down, but room service was very good - clean towels and coffee / tea, etc. It's little tricky to find if you arrive late at night, but as the signposting is not very clear. There is a car park should you need one and good access to transport to local shopping area. Staff were very friendly and checking was super easy.

Generally very dated and in need of repair or refurbishment. The window could be opened from the outside with no ability to lock it, not ideal being on the ground floor. Bathroom was stained, sink had a spoon in the drain and taps were prone to exploding water everywhere if you weren't incredibly careful. Only one large towel supplied for two of us (rest were hand towels). Heating was overly complicated with no instructions. It was a bed after a long night, which was the only positive point.

The man that checked me in was speaking with his colleague at the same time as dealing with me which I thought was rude. The hotel smelt horrible and is in need a refurbishment. The room didn't look the same as pictured and the bathroom needed mould and meldrew to be removed and for the fixtures and fittings to be replaced as they are badly worn.

Good little hotel!
The bed was super comfortable, and the room was a really good size. Loved the vending machine. Travel into and out of central London was super easy too! My only gripe was there was an amount of mould around the bath and on the roof in the bathroom.

Okay stay - but needs some much needed TLC!
The staff were plenty pleasant enough however its the hotel itself that could do with some TLC. The hallways had an awful smell to them (particularly the areas near the lifts..at some points it was almost unbearable) and big stains on the floor (carpet definitely needs replacing) the room was a great size but beds are rock hard and even though we had four pillows in total they were as flat as a pancake! Definitely time to be replaced! Bathroom was really outdated and marks over tv unit/walls. That being said, it does have a big carpark, loads of restaurants nearby and a bus stop. If the hotel had a revamp it couldn't be faulted! Luckily we were only staying for one night so cracked on with it!

Dirtest hotel we have ever seen
The dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. Mould, grime, limescale in the bathroom, blonde hair all over the floor in living part, finger marks everywhere, broken cupboards with mould in, the kettle was old and had limescale and mouldy dirt on it, the bed was extremely springy my partner had to ask for extra padding due to health issues so they gave an old grubby futon mattress thing. She was bitten 3 times whilst being in the bed! Extractor fan didnt work, the windows didnt shut properly. The lift and hallways stank and there was mould and stains up on the roof. Cluby banging music playing at 4am above us which woke us up and constant cars beeping outside. Will never ever stay in these hotels again, we felt dirty.

The over all stay was average nice clean and fairly comfortable room. Average size room and bathroom but did what it needed to. Was a little dissapointed that breakfast was not included with the stay. Also would have liked a booklet of some kind giving prices and activities of the venues around the hotel.

This is your basic budget hotel. I stayed for 3 nights and no one cleaned the room, but then I didn't ask for this service. The room was a good size and was clean, with plenty of clothing storage. The hallways were in need of updating and reception area was also a bit uninspiring, but the staff at the front desk were friendly/ helpful. There were nearby bus and underground links and this hotel was convenient for events at Alexandra Palace.

We stayed at OYO as it was conveniently located to Finchley Central and Northern Line in to London the following day. It was a late check-in for us following a long drive. The area around the hotel is busy with a retail park, but we parked no problem directly outside the hotel. Check in was quick and friendly. The hallways to the room and the lift etc are a little tired, as are the rooms, but the room was clean and comfortable. The family all also well, so no real complaints. It did the job for us for sure.

Excellent apart from issue with hot water
Overall a very pleasant stay. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The car park was full when we arrived but the receptionist allowed us to move a traffic cone that was in front of a parking space. The room was clean and comfortable. Only major downside was that there was no hot water in the morning. (this was a big negative)
