I had the most horrible experience. The room expected was suppose to be three beds but we got two. Also the room was so cramped. No air conditioning the room was so hot and stuffy tried to open window but could barely open. Fan provided didn’t move and wasn’t powerful. We could also feel the underground trains every time they went. The staff were unhelpful and didn’t care at all. The room was old. We also spotted blood mark on the wall. We tried one night hoping cool off but it didn’t it was cool outside so a window nice breeze would have been fine but nope. I would have preferred sleeping outside. We had to change hotels and they didn’t refund or anything to compensate. We asked for another fan and they didn’t have any. It was horrible don’t go there. To top it off we knew this though so on us no lift.

It’s a charming hotel with charm and character. If you don’t like stairs, you won’t like it. But I would personally recommend it and I would stay there again. Room very small.

Very clean property with very friendly staff. It is very space constranted walking through the hallways and stairwells so makes it hard with big bags. The hotel is also located on a underground line that i could hear whilst in my room.

It hadn’t occurred to me to check for a “lift” (elevator, for N. Americans). Luckily we were only one flight down below the main floor but there was a long, steep, narrow staircase with mismatched steps which was treacherous to hail 4 very large suitcases down and then up. The water in the hotel is not potable which I wouldn’t have even thought to check ahead of time. Every time the Tube (underground train) went by, our room very loudly rumbled. I felt like we were staying in a hostel! Breakfast was not included but you could purchase the continental breakfast (it included waffles & hard boiled eggs) or an English breakfast. The location however was excellent, just a block from Paddington Station.

The hotel is very old with no remodeling ever made. The room was tiny, no elevator and no AC They put you up on the highest floor , you can't even breath in that room and when you partially open the window it is so noisy you can not sleep

The property is very close to everything restaurants and transport. Our room was spacious for a family of 5. Walking distance to st Mary's which was important to us because our daughter got sick and we have to go back and forth to st Marys all the time. The only thing is there is no lift but we only 2 luggages medium size so it is doable . The manager Zoe was quick to reply with our queries and very considerate of our situation. Highly recommended.

This was a perfect place to stay while my son was in hospital at St Mary’s. The staff were kind and flexible about our coming and going and it made such a difference to us being able to have a space to get some sleep during the day.

Room fairly small but adequate for the one night. Clean, tidy, decent decoration. Main issue, on ground floor above Underground tunnel! Frequent rumble, every two minutes! Soon got used to it, didnt stop me sleeping, but mild distraction. Several Greene King pubs nearby.

This place needs to be shut down. Filing a formal complaint to get something done about the incredible lack of safety. My wife and I were locked inside our room twice. Keys would not open from the outside, so the property manager had to bring a physical key up three flights of stairs to let us out.

Clean, friendly and helpful. Bathroom a bit on the small side, but clean. Good towels. Breakfast not bad. Good location, handy for public transport. Lots of choices for eating and drinking. No lift, stairs a little tricky. Would use again, but lower floor.
