Trying to get instructions to get into the studio basement flat on fairholme, in Fulham and Hammersmith, London)
(Sorry I was not allowed to disclose the actual address.)
I had to make Long Distance calls from the States to an answering machine that that didn't always answer, I tried Calling quite a few times.
Finally two days before we left I got instructions to get into the flat,
I was a little scared being as my only contact number doesn't always answer and I was trying to switch to an international phone.
Shower has to be cycled on and off because the drain was so slow that the shower filled up of water very quickly,
I had the plunge the toilet probably 10 times during our stay because it would not drain,
The bed was lumpy but I managed to sleep anyway,
One of the towels was apparently dirty looks used (it was wrinkly) hanging on a hanger in the closet (scary) so we had 3 bath towels, no hand towels, no washcloth
TV would not get any channels but hey you're in London that's no big deal we didn't need it.
Make sure you follow all the instructions you need to get into your apartment and unlock the basement door leading to the hallway of your apartment because you will need the key fob to unlock that.
The place was very small and gross with mold in the showers.
The only plus was that it was close to West Kensington subway station you can walk there very easily even with bags.
I highly discourage renting this piece of property (our friends that travelled with us got a flat 8 times the size for only another $15 a night).
