1. Underground cool 'theme'. I liked the minimalist room 2. No windows as expected 3. Smelt like drains? In the corridors and in the room if you put the fan on. 4. No hairdryer 5. If you want to leave luggage it's £15 per item 6. Arrived 20min prior to check in. Sat and waited at 3pm exactly we self checked in on a tablet. Which is ok. However 100% the room would have been ready.

Staff mocked threatened me over disability
My recent stay at Zedwell Tottenham Court was extremely upsetting due to the staff’s lack of even the most basic respect for my disabilities. Upon arrival and faced with an extortionate amount to check-in 40 minutes early I had to wait. Seats were available but despite explaining that while standing was more comfortable due to my condition, both options left me in increasing pain. I was then ignored by the front desk for 30 minutes. I struggled with the check-in process and while one member did seem to be genuinely trying to help, others who inserted themselves into the situation were dismissive, argumentative, and generally made the situation worse. One staff member in particular accused me of fabricating my disabilities, argued that I did not deserve any help, and only had myself to blame for the pain I was in and the difficulties I was having. The actions of that staff member triggered a panic attack. The situation worsened the next day when I was further antagonised by the same staff member who again accused me of falsifying my disability and threatened to have me removed from the property by security. In both incidents, nearby management observed from a distance without intervening. The hotel’s staff displayed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. I would not recommend this hotel, especially to disabled guests.

WORST customer service ever, they charge for EVERYTHING (15 GBP for an iron!, 15 GBP per bag to guard for an hour!!!, front desk people have worst attitude, and none of these things are advertised when you book!!! Plus it's literally underground (fair enough that's in the name) but air gets stuffy and heavy and not knowing if it's day or night gets you after day 1, not staying here again, EVER.

Stayed here 15+ times over the past 18 months but the standard is really starting to diminish. Room was dirty with a bunch of hair and dust on the floors and the fresh linen looked suspiciously unfresh. There was gum stuck behind the bed and just generally it was not a great experience

This is the perfect hotel for a London stay. The beds are comfy, they bring you new towels each day. It’s the perfect size, it’s in a less busy London area where you can walk to places easily. Right next to stores. I will only stay here when I come to London!

It was not known at the time off booking but the rooms dont get made up on a daily basis and the bins dont get emptied. New towels just get thrown in. As a matter of course I will usually leave my room tidy on a daily basis. Pillows at the head of the bed. Duvet shook out etc. But when I came back later that evening it was a shock that housekeeping had not re-done the bed or cleaned the room. So I set about making it myself. I pulled the bedding off the bed to uncover a wave of yellow stains all over the mattress beneath. Im not one for photos so I dont have any but it looked like something Jackson Pollock would be proud of! Secondly. The sheet that was used was barely able to cover the mattress beneath. It could just about reach over the sides but it couldnt cover the head and foot of the bed which meant that wherever you turn it just pealed back. Really disappointing to see that the bins dont get emptied daily as a basic common curtesy. The common areas themselves are quite missleading about the expectations on the rooms as these are kept very well. Issues only become apparent once you open your door. Wont be staying again for fear of catching something. Only saving grace is that perhaps the team on reception were great. Really helpful and very friendly.

We were due to stay at the Tottenham Court Rd hotel, we arrived 30 minutes early and was told it would be £40 to check in early so we said we would go back at 10.30pm after our theatre show, when we got back at 10.30pm we were told they had moved us to the Zedwell hotel in Piccadilly… no email or phone cal to tel is this! when we asked where that was they just said ‘it’s 10 minutes down the road’ we finally found the hotel and on first appearance it looked nice and clean however in our room we found used contact lenses left on the shelf by the bed!! The hotel is above the coyote ugly nightclub… we felt like we were in the bar! The music was so loud it even vibrated in the pillows, the music finally ended about 4am so very little sleep was had!!! If you want a night of sleep we don’t recommend this hotel!!! And Zedwell hotels advertise themselves as having soundproof rooms!

Was ok, for the money I expected an iron, but this was £10 extra as ironing clothes is frowned upon in London, also no cups for toothbrushes and no cloths, just 2 towels, won't be going back.
