Hotel was clean and staff was really nice. Room was really small for two adults and one teen. Keep in mind that is underground so you don’t have any windows. Air conditioner wasn’t working properly and they gave us two fans to survive the two nights. You feel and hear the train. The hotel is really minimalist, doesn’t have closet, no tables, bathroom didn’t have any shelves for your things. The room doesn’t have good lights and because we needed the fans we didn’t have enough outlets to charge our things. If you can overlook all of these things go ahead and stay. You have a train station, five guys and primark steps away and that was great.

Do not stay here. They will nickel and dime you.
The Zedwell is an adequate and even comfortable hotel to sleep in -- but do not be deceived by their seemingly low prices. Arrive early? Pay £15 pounds to store each of your bags or pay £60 to check into your room two hours early (even if it is available). Ditto on check-out. Need to use an iron? That will cost you another £10. I'm pretty sure they would charge if you needed extra toilet paper. Advice: pay just a bit more and stay at any other hotel where they will store your bags on arrival and departure for free -- oh, and they will provide you an iron to use at no additional charge. When I asked the staff about all of these charges that add up, they said "it's London, sorry." No, it is not London. It is the Zedwell. Do not reward them for this type of scheme. Stay elsewhere.

Good clean hotel. Could have given an extra towel as I only had one for shower and one for a bath mat. Had no towel to dry hands. No desk or anything to leave my suitcase on. Need a little table for suitcase or clothes like in Piccadilly Circus

Please don’t torture yourself
Every little thing came as an extra. Early check in £40, store luggage early £15per bag, hair dryer £10 etc. The shower head is a rainfall shower so you can’t shower without getting your hair wet so you’re pretty much left with no choice but to rent out the hair dryer. The room was suffocating and had really bad aircon. Please save yourself the pain and go somewhere else. The room was not noise proof what so ever. As a female I’ve never felt so unsafe

Budget hotel with stealth charges -disappointing
Budget quality hotel in central location but would not return. Room is the smallest I’ve ever stayed in and feels like a prison cell. You know when you book it there are no windows but this hotel is like some dystopian nightmare. Cannot believe the hotel check out time is 10am!!! This is unheard of in London hotels and they are ready and knocking on your door ready to collect their £50 late check out fee as soon as you breach the cut off time. It was clean but I think I would rather stay anywhere else than here in the future. Would not return.

Of you need a quick and simple stay. Rooms are small but sufficient. There is coffee and super nice staff. 15p for leaving luggage after check out was the only thing that bothered me since i wanted to grab breakfast before heading to the airport.. but overall if youre looking for a place to stay in the midst of it all tottenham court is a good one.

The Ryanair of hotels!
Poor phone service as it’s 4 floors underground. Very noisy too due to the tube and also some very random pipe work. They charge for everything. Storing bags is £15, an iron is £10 and early check in is £60. Location is excellent tho so it’s a compromise

Pros: Location (close to theaters, tube stop, many dining options), clean room Cons: 15£ charge to store luggage (per piece), tiny room with no space for a proper suitcase and no chair, water from shower gets all over bathroom floor soaking bath mat and leaving a puddle, noisy (can hear the tube, loud plumbing sounds), hairdryer is an additional 10£ charge

Great location. Weird concept of an underground hotel. Room very basic but clean and comfortable bed. Noise of underground trains can be heard but that doesn’t bother me. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Excellent property. The room is perfectly located in the London core and is walking distance from the underground. There are several shopping and restaurant within walking distance of this hotel. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. As a female in my 20s traveling solo I felt extremely safe.

Pros- great location, bathroom had nice features, waterfall shower, de misting mirror and soft close loo, decent towels and the bed was comfy. Cons- one small lift that you had to wait ages for every time, room wasn’t very clean, floors clearly hadn’t been mopped and there were old toothpaste splashes behind the sink, toilet made a horrendous noise when flushed, pipes made an awful noise, walls were paper thin and you can hear your neighbours, and you can hear the tube trains going past every few minutes. I don’t care how cheap it was, I wouldn’t stay again.
