Is it actually the worlds best Hampton Inn?
While I was checking in, the clerk answered the phone “welcome to the greatest Hampton Inn in the world. How may I exceed your expectations? “ I laughed about it at the time as the sort of thing companies teach their employees as a standard greeting. Turns out they might be right. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. The facility was clean and up-to-date. Tons of amenities. The kicker for me is when I saw a man ask the front desk person about where they might be able to buy a belt because they needed one in a hurry. The front desk person offered them the use of their car to go pick it up! Customer declined, saying they weren’t comfortable with that. The clerk. TOOK OFF THEIR OWN BELT AND GAVE IT TO HIM! He said “just bring it back when you’re done. “ That is absolutely exceeding expectations
