Those who know Lorne, know anywhere between William and Bay Street is prime location. You don't want to be all the way up the hill, but the further up you go, the better the views.
We think Moorehouse Street, running parallel to the Louttit Bay, is about as good as it gets. As far renovated beach houses go, we also think Bowerbird is right up there.
Still somewhat modest from the outside, on the inside Bowerbird is something special. Meticulously transformed from a once beach shack into an adventurous, contemporary coastal escape.
It features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to the rear, with spacious, open plan living at the front taking in beautiful views across the bay and into the deep blue. Bowerbird is all about attention to detail, style and character. See for yourself, the pictures tell a thousand words. What they will not tell you is what you can discover for yourself. Like the cheeky little landing area to wash away the sand, store your boards, and escape the midday sun with a cold drink and a good book. Oh, we've said too much already.
Bowerbird ticks a bunch of boxes. Warm, carpeted bedrooms with ample storage, all complete with reverse cycle A/ C units for maximum comfort. The kitchen is both styled and stocked to have the whole family gravitating towards it, while the lounge will have you gazing out through the floor to ceiling windows in the hope of spotting the next pod of dolphins or visiting bird.
Wrapping the entire home is decking complete with outdoor setting, gas BBQ and a couple of funky lounges. Other features include undercover, off-street parking, Meile appliances and all those little things that make you feel right at home.
Bowerbird is a classic example of a once loved beach shack, given some more love to start a new life to be loved all over again.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.
