This hotel promised a lot but couldn't deliver. However, some staff were quick to respond with vouchers / not charging. Maybe we were unlucky. Most aspects were very nice but crucial things didn't happen like someone answering the phone to receive our request for an airport shuttle when we arrived at LAX. Additionally, a private party overwhelmed the kitchen and, after more than an hour, only one of our two meal orders were served (the second meal never appeared). Unfortunately, there are few other dining options in the vicinity (except McD's).

The staff were polite and helpful and the property was clean. The issue I had during my stay 1) I asked for a non connecting room and was told there were none available due to shortage in housekeeping and that I could come back to the front desk the next morning to switch to a non connecting room. 2) The TV in my room barely worked correctly throughout my 3 night stay. It would constantly freeze, the apps on the TV did not work and a majority of the buttons and amenities offered on the TV remote did not work. Although maintenance came twice to assist, the TV never worked fully correct the entire stay which made the downtime I had on my trip to relax in the room a bit frustrating. Also the bathroom mirror with the Bluetooth speaker did not stay connected to any of my devices for more than a few minutes. 3) Also when I went to the restaurant to order breakfast to take back to my room, I discovered when I returned to my room that my order was incorrect and had been swapped with another order. This was inconvenient because this was a morning I was on a tight schedule and I had to take the order back down and get my correct order.

Great location, great staff, spacious room. We had excellent service in the restaurant which has a very basic menu. Food was good and reasonably priced. Only complaint besides the non existent free shuttle is that it would have been nice to have some creamer in our fridge for coffee. My overall rating would be a 5 if it wasn’t for the misinformation about the free shuttle. when I called to check on how to book the free airport shuttle, the guy who answered spent over 5 minutes collecting data for the reservation I had already made which it turns out was an up-sell for choice hotels. He then informed me that they don’t offer a shuttle and told me I had to make my own way. I spent another 10 minutes discussing this with him and explaining this is one of the reasons we booked here. He said that since I booked through a 3rd party, it was not accurate and basically chastised me for not booking direct. Please be aware if you book for this reason. It was incredibly disappointing. A taxi from the airport was $27 which was $12 cheaper than Uber. So disappointing as there is so much to live about this place.
