Only one person at check in desk for a line. I have reserved 3 rooms, could not get together on one floor. Toilet was not flushing properly. No body wash and waited to take shower. No iron was in room. Unexpected car parking charges for $27 night which was cross the street from the hotel. Next day forgot to leave towels in room after cleaning. Upon check out asked for receipt, attendant said 3rd party will send you receipt where you have booked the trip.

This DoubleTree is a Double Dump
I read reviews prior to booking and wrote off the negative reviews as people just being high maintenance. Make no mistake, this is one of the worst mid-range hotels I have stayed at in recent times. What made it worse is that the problems are so endemic to the guest experience that there was a permanent gray cloud. Guests were upset and the employees so uncaring and apathetic that it wasn't even worth trying to get issues resolved. My room was so dated that when I sat on the bed, the mattress sank in the middle. None of the toiletries in the shower were refilled, empty when I arrived and never refilled throughout my stay. When I asked the front desk if they could make a note for housekeeping, she just handed.l me the full size commercial refill bottles from under the desk. Guess I wasn't the first to ask? I paid extra for breakfast. Burnt tasting coffee and the apples were brown and wrinkled. Come on....how long does it take an apple to look that way? Months. I only had breakfast there the first morning, a total waste of money. There were so many issues, it's hard to list them all out. When I told one of my ex-Mattel colleagues this is where I was staying, she said "are you crazy? That place is known as Double Dump". Now I know.

The General Manager was working the front desk (I believe Lewis was his name). He was very welcoming and made the check-in process quick and pleasant. Loved the welcome gift!! Great shuttle service.

If you intend on going to any of the theme parks, this is the hotel for you! Less than 10 minutes from LAX, 20 minutes from Disneyland, and it even shares the property space with MATTEL (company that makes toys!). Don’t expect an early check-in because they seem to be booked & busy. Parking was great, except later in the evening. As I emphasize, booked & busy! I was able to ship a package there that I needed during my stay. All in all, I enjoyed my stay!! I will definitely keep this location in my mind for my next visit.

The property was fine but the staff and manager had absolutely terrible service. Booked his hotel mainly for the distance to the airport and the accessibility to having a crib in our room. Called the hotel three weeks in advance of our trip that we will need a crib in our room for our day and representative was nice and advised that we will be taken care of. Go to show the day of check-in while checking in the host had advised us at that point that it was first come first serve, and there were no more cribs available they did request housekeeping to take a second look because of our pushback and frustration and come to show that they gave us a call and did not have any cribs available nor did they have any rooms available with a bigger bed to bed share with my infant. At this point, it was too late in the night to consider changing hotels and we had to stay there and thankfully it was only one night, but it was very frustrating to think like what to do with an infant that doesn’t know how to sleep in a proper bed and the manager had no solution for us. If we would’ve known that the Crabel’s first come first serve, we would’ve gone to the hotel first checked in and then ran and explored the city versus doing the opposite. Very poor communication between the team.
