We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites El Segundo near LAX, and while the experience was okay, it fell short of the high standards we’ve come to expect from Embassy Suites. The breakfast, as usual, was great and one of the highlights of our stay. However, we encountered several issues during our three-night stay in room 503. The sinks had a strong sewage smell, which was unpleasant and made the room less comfortable. Additionally, our room only had three towels for a group of four, so we called to request more. Unfortunately, they never brought the towels despite saying they would, which was frustrating. Another downside was the parking fee, which is $48 per night. Given that the hotel feels a bit outdated, the parking charge seems excessive and not in line with the overall condition of the property. Overall, it was an average stay, but the maintenance issues, lack of service, and high parking fees left us feeling underwhelmed.

This is our second time staying here our first stay was in the summer months and our second was during Thanksgiving. Our stay was nice this time however the rooms were a little warm. We opened our sliding door which cooled the room but it was loud outside. Otherwise everything was great!

This property is very nice and convenient near LAX. I only stayed one night to pick up my family at the airport. I parked, checked in and used the free shuttle service. For that, it is convenient. However this hotel charges $44 for parking which parking here is tight and seems minimal. They do have an underground parking, 2 levels. In the morning there is free full breakfast. I do recommend. Very nice, serene lobby, clean airy, and friendly staff.

The facility is beautiful and the staff were friendly. The beds and rooms were very nice. However, there was music playing too loudly in the lobby much of the night and the hotel has control of the heat/ac, so that we could not cool off our room that was way too warm.

It’s a nice hotel overall and we enjoyed our time, but expect the service and amenities are not the best. We asked for more pillows twice, and they were never brought to us. The WiFi was out for two days, and the front desk was rude when we asked if they had an update. They said we could use WiFi across the street. Not a great response when we’re paying to stay here; not across the street. The AC didn’t work very well (we set our room to 64 degrees for it to feel about 70 degrees). Parking in the garage is $44 per day, so either prepare for that or there is some street parking if you’re okay with walking a bit to the hotel.

The lobby is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms itself need more work - the dressers, the bathroom vanity all several chips on the bottom, sawdust still visible from work previously done - it was ok. I can't say I would return. The buffet breakfast wasn't refreshed as often as it should - twice no scrambled eggs and cold potatoes. - It is a good place to stay on a quick layover as it's close to the airport and the shuttle service was appreciated.

After opening our sofa bed we found that the sheets hadn’t been cleaned and there was hair all over them. We contacted the front desk to be told they would change the sheets the next day. The next day came and I recieved a text asking how things were at the hotel. I informed them about the dirty sheets and was informed they would be sending staff to change them now. After being gone the entire day, we came back to find the sheets had not been changed and the hair was still all over them. I went down to inform the front desk and they finally sent someone up to change them out and give us new sheets and pillows.

I’m from LA and moved away, this was my first time back and I stayed at this hotel to be close to my family they lives either in the South Bay or Santa Monica. It was easy to get to with ample parking and ev charging stations that were convenient. The size of the rooms are massive with two rooms and was perfect for me and my family. We would definitely stay here again next time were in town
