I love the Sails - stay here every time I come to LB. Not fancy and dated, but clean, comfy and safe. Nice courtyard, pool. Friendly staff. No food, but bar restaurant next door and great diner across the street for breakfast.

This hotel was built in the mid 60s, it needs a renovation or tear down and rebuilt. There's a section of the motel side that is closed. It looks like they started renovating and they quit. Our room was clean but the bathroom is not very good. The area was very convenient to where we were going. The front desk employees were very nice. The pool was clean and they had nice tables and chairs around the pool area. I would not stay here again.
