The room was spacious and very clean. It was easy to sleep during the day because once you close the drapes the room was dark and quiet. The shower could have used more water pressure but all in all a very nice stay.

Convenient location for the reason we were in Downey, also several nearby restaurants. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. Appreciated plain Greek yogurt - many places only provide sweetened yogurts. Only surprise was that Hotels.com did not mention the $12 parking fee.

The room set up was a little odd. The bathroom door is entirely frosted glass, so if someone needed to use the restroom, while others slept, the whole room lit up. The hotel itself was very nice and conveniently located for what we needed.

While the property could use a little love, I think it is conveniently located. You have a pharmacy close by, a starbucks and a dunkin donuts just outside the entrance. Staff is fantastic! Breakfast is continental style but still good. Overall we are quite happy with our stay here. Will definitely consider it again for our next trip.

Place was nice and breakfast was ok. The only thing bad I would have to say about our room was that the couch was not cleaned very well. There were stains, and hairs on it. The good thing is that if you would have to use it to sleep on it like I did they provide a mattress cover that is meant for it but it should have been cleaned regardless. Also there was a bit of a sewage smell coming from the bathroom sink.

A few issues but pretty good overall
I was a bit concerned about the nearby train tracks but I never heard the train once. When I first arrived, there looked like a bug on the floor but it ended up being a sunflower seed, fhew! Water pressure in the shower was a bit low and took a minute or two to warm up. Pillows could be more supportive. Wish breakfast started earlier than 6:30am - maybe 6am or 5:30am. Liked the fact that you could walk across the street to the nearby mall and grab food and go shopping. Pretty good overall. 7 out of 10?

The cleanliness was horrible. All of the commons areas were filthy everyday, including the walkways, elevators, etc. The floor we stayed on had a horrible smell, our room itself was nice but the shower had mold and corrosion on the corners/shower door. The staff was very nice.
