This Baja gem will make your stay in Los Barriles comfortable, fun, convenient and super relaxing! This home is basically 2 homes in 1. Both equipped with in room a/c units, and drinkable, filtered water throughout!! AND - THIS HOME IS EQUIPPED WITH A BACKUP GENERATOR SO YOU DO NOT EXPERIENCE POWER OUTAGES!
Upper level comes with full kitchen, 2 bedrooms (king bed in master and one queen and one twin in secondary) and 1 bathroom (toilet 2 sinks, and shower,)living area (sofa makes into a bed,) kitchen bar seating, dining table for 8, staircase to roof level palapa where you can rock on our blue rocking chairs and gaze at sunset, sliding glass door to private patio with seating for 6 complete with hot tub. Access to pool, bbq, laundry and outdoor shower, firepit areas included. Sweeping ocean views can be enjoyed on the upper level patio or on the roof deck.
The lower level comes with 3/4 kitchen, 2 bedrooms (queen bed in master and three twins in secondary, kitchenette (complete with 3/4 fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster oven and more,) 1 bathroom inside (shower, 2 sinks and toilet) and 1 bathroom outside compelte with outdoor shower and enclosed toilet and sink, dining table with 4 chairs on interior and 4 chairs and table at exterior patio,and small living area complete with a sofa that makes into a bed, sliding glass door onto patio with ocean view, access to pool, firepit, outdoor shower, laundry room (with toilet and sink,) and bbq area and extra 4 person outdoor dining table. Do you enjoy pickleball?? The Tres Palapas Pickleball Resort is less than a 1 block walk from this home. Grab a game, enjoy the cocktail lounge from their gorgeous viewing space or bop over for a cup of amazing coffee in the morning.Plus they have an great restaurant within walking distance from our home.
Or, maybe snorkeling is your thing? You will love the under 1 block walk to the beach for some of the best snorkeling in Baja. It is also a great spot to drop in your kayak for a morning paddle. Or, just grab the beach chairs and towels provided and stroll over with your coffee to view breathtaking sunsrises and sunsets. Some fantastic spear fishing goes on here too :) Whether your sport is kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, or fishing - you are less than 5-10 minutes away from all the best sport beaches and open space in Los Barriles. This is a really beautiful house and was great for our family and friends, a group of 7. I won't duplicate what other reviewers have said. Would stay again. Some thoughts: The beach at the end of the street is not really swimmable. There are huge rocks and boulders. You may be able to do a bit of snorkeling but not swim. It's still a gorgeous spot and could take long walks on the beach which was great. Also, a good swimming beach was only a 5-6 minute drive away. Between May and October is down season so there were not a lot of people around. Lots of restaurants closed or limited hours. The Pickleball resort limits hours to three evenings a week between 5-8pm. It's also incredibly hot in July which was to be expected but the pool was more like a hot tub and not too refreshing. Not a lot of sun shade around the house or pool area. If you've traveled to this area before then you know this but this was my first time so want to help those of you who are new to Barriles. The house is two separate apartments. They do not connect internally. It wasn't a big deal for us as you could easily walk around to the other apartment but you have to go outside the house to get to the other apartment. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helped with all kinds of things from recommending a doctor to atv rental to arranging an in home chef (which is highly recommended!). We did have trouble entering the bottom apartment when we arrived.

Great home for a vacation
If you love relaxing in Baja with family and friends, this is the perfect place to stay. This home has all the amenities for comfort and convenience. Quiet neighborhood but still close to everything including a semi private beach and Tres Palapas. Pretty views, private pool, and several outdoor gathering areas. The owner was super responsive and the property mgrs were very helpful. We had a great stay here!

The Casa is as advertised, views, roomy, everything you could ask for a family reunuion! we enjoyed the views, the plunge pool, everything! It is spacious yet open. We felt right at home, and the kitchen is loaded with everthing you need to cook fantastic meals! We would reserve this place again! Clean and quiet!

Tres Palapas sooooo close!
This was our second time staying at Casa Las Estrellas and it most certainly did not disappoint! We absolutely LOVE the accommodations and the location to Tres Palapas is pure perfection! They made sure to keep our specific request in mind as we checked in and we had a seamless stay! I would HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous VRBO as it offers so many unique qualities that a hotel just doesnā€™t. You can sleep four couples easily as each floor is completely separated. The home is SO clean and comfortable. The only issue was the internet/TV reception one of our 4 days, but they seemed to have fixed that quickly. Can say enough about how much we adore this place and we would rate it more than 5 stars if possible!

Better Than The Photos
My family had a fantastic stay at this house. Everything was beautiful and even better looking than the photos. We could see whales from the balcony where we drank our coffee. We spent our afternoons lounging near the pool and cooling off in the refreshing water. You can drink the tap water which was so convenient. We cooked at home a lot and the kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to feed a group of 6. Everything was very clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We would definitely come back to stay at the lovely home.

Perfect for us with adult children and their Families
We had 6 adults and our 2 year old granddaughter staying. There was nothing that we did not like. We loved it! The house was roomy allowing us to spread out in different areas for my granddaughterā€™s naps and accommodating different bedtimes for the adults. We loved to be able to be close to town but still have the quiet of being out of town for just having a walk. When at the house we used the pool to sit around. A couple of us also enjoyed having a hot tub watching the sunrise in the mornings. It was so nice that there were toys for our granddaughter to play with avoiding us buying them. Having an umbrella and chairs for the beach was also a bonus. While we did not think about it when booking, having water from the tap that we could drink certainly made things easy. We had a few communications with Tamra and the property managers and each time responses were received quickly. We certainly will be booking this again when returning to Los Barriles.

This place is FANTASTIC!
Wow!! What a great place for 4 couples to stay & play. The property is beautiful. Everything is very high quality. From the filtered water to the jacuzzi on the deck to the pool in the backyard.. The upstairs living area was great for making dinner and having 8 person parties. The location; just a short walk from Tres Palapas Pickleball Resort, was ideal. We all agree weā€™d come back to this property again!!

Our stay at this home was lovely for the most part. The home was large enough for three family groups to each have some private space with plenty of room to gather together when desired. It is close to the beach, has a lovely yard that is relatively kid-friendly, and has amazing 360 degree sunsets. The upstairs kitchen was amply supplied with quality dishware, cookware and utensils, although the downstairs kitchen was much smaller and less convenient to use. This was ok for our purposes. We did have an extended power outage and the hot water heater has a design flaw that made it stop working continuously until we realized we needed to prop the door to the water heater closet open for it to function. This was a problem for our group as several of us had only cold showers for the first 3 days of our stay. Also since we had small children in our group, having that closet open was one extra hazard that we needed to monitor for. (We were concerned one of them may have become trapped if the door closed on them or that they would tamper with the settings.) The surroundings are charming, quiet, and private with minimal contact with neighbors. Our family enjoyed our time in this beautiful home very much.

This property was absolutely incredible! The manager was prompt with responses, the property is gorgeous and well appointed and super super clean. The ac works very well and you also get a nice breeze so you wonā€™t need it de pepĆ³n the time of year. The beds were really comfortable and the sheets were very soft. The only thing that we wished we could get to work was the jacuzzi. We stayed with a group of friends (7 total upstairs and down) and we walked to Tres Palapas for Pickleball every day. After four days of all day play, we really looked forward to soaking. Hopefully they will have it fixed by next time. The pool was delightful and clean. Canā€™t stress the beauty of the property enough! If youā€™re wanting to go to the beach, itā€™s a few steps away and of course the world class Pickleball resort Tres Palapas is literally two doors down. AMAZING AMAZING PLACE! Thank you again!

A vacation to remember
Communication was always timely and efficient from day one of our renting experience. The area itself was a wonderful surprise and the house very well stocked and lovely. The grounds too. Relaxed, quiet and a feeling of being "at home". Would definitely recommend! Activities we enjoyed were swimming with the whale sharks in La Paz (a full day of adventure and easy to book a driver) while closer by, the rental of ATVs to explore the area. Pickle ball courts a short walk away along with a nice little cafe. Town itself not within easy walking distance but again, there are drivers. The beach is rocky but easy to walk on with some fun shell collecting options. All in all A+

Owner offered to give us a discount on next stay, for issues encountered, we would never rent it again. Broken faucet handle , broken recliner , ac stopped working in one room, water heater stopped working, wife stung by scorpion in bathroom , tons of white creepy bugs on outside chairs , and more !

Loved it all
We had an enjoyable time at this home. We arrived the day right after Hurricane Kay happened and so there was a few small things but they addressed everything quickly. The house is great! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, deck and amenities of home! The hot tub did not work but we really didnā€™t care because it was so hot outside anyway. Owner was very organized and responsive and I would recommend this home to anyoneā€¦ especially those who love pickleball! We played at Tres Palapas every day and throughly enjoyed ourselves. Beach by the home wasnā€™t great but that was only because the hurricane had just hit and there was alit of rock and debris.

Safe Haven to unplug from the world
The property was beautiful . It has the Mexican charm that you seek when you stay in Mexico . BIG PLUS is the generator ! It appears that itā€™s typical to lose power there quite often and we are so happy that we had it ! The location is close to a beach but didnā€™t find it suitable for swimming especially with children . It is a great place to really unwind and enjoy family time and great place for star gazing too !
