"Disappointing and Overpriced: Avoid Krystal Grand Resort at All Costs! My stay at Krystal Grand Resort was an unmitigated disaster. From the unfriendly staff to the numerous broken promises, this resort failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations. The so-called "welcome package" included a timeshare presentation, which promised massages and other perks. However, when I tried to book a massage, I was told the spa was fully booked for the entire week! The room was a disaster. After three days, I had to call the front desk to request housekeeping, as the room had not been cleaned once. The A/C didn't work, making the room unbearable. The food options were extremely limited and of poor quality. The buffet was subpar, with many guests agreeing that the meals were disappointing. The seating options were scarce, and when a family requested to have tables slid together, the staff refused, turning them away. The pools were a joke. While the kids' pool received all the attention from the entertainment staff, with foam parties and DJs, the adult pool was left with elevator music and locals bringing in children, despite the supposed "adults-only" policy. The staff didn't seem to care. To add insult to injury, the power continually went out, and the loud generators kept the lights on, making it impossible to relax. Considering the exorbitant prices, Krystal Grand Resort is an absolute rip-off. I would have been better off staying at the RUI.

Everyone that worked there was very friendly and willing to help. It is a beautiful resort. The only thing I didn't like was we weren't checked in by the Expedia rep so we missed out on some of our Expedia perks. It was a great stay I miss it already.

My daughter and I spent the Christmas Holiday at this beautiful resort. There were numerous food options, great music including live performances, also the amenities were also for the Altitude guests. We truly enjoyed our time at this resort and will be returning. This is definitely a place to spend Christmas, all the smiling faces, beautiful people and great staff made it worth it. Not to add we got to enjoy excursions and tours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Amazing!!!

The pictures on this hotel really sold me. However it’s not what you get in person. The communication of things happening around the property is terrible. Once it got dark there wasn’t much happening. The buffet literally had the same thing every single day. The kids pool area is in such a bad spot that it get no sun and the water is freezing. We got put in a room that had a broken patio chair and it took several calls before someone came to fix it. Actually most things took several calls outside of room service. Also this is by the water that you should swim in although people do the waves at this end are very dangerous and it doesn’t say that anywhere on this resort page.

Avoid Kristal Grand in Cabo – Complete Disaster Staying at the Kristal Grand in Cabo was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. The rooms were absolutely filthy and nothing like the photos online. Stains on the bedding, hair in the bathroom, and a musty odor made the experience unbearable. It was clear housekeeping barely put in any effort despite our repeated complaints. The food was even worse—completely inedible. The buffet consisted of stale, lukewarm options that looked like they’d been sitting out for hours. The à la carte restaurants weren’t any better, serving undercooked meat and tasteless dishes. We had to eat off-site just to avoid getting sick. The staff at this resort were some of the most dishonest I’ve ever dealt with. They made promises they never kept—everything from room upgrades to restaurant reservations was just empty words. Their attitude toward guests showed a complete lack of care. The worst part? The positive reviews on Expedia are misleading at best and likely fake. There’s no way anyone who stayed here could genuinely think this place deserves more than one star. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration—do not book at the Kristal Grand. It’s a complete scam and not worth a single penny. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.

Wonderful staff, lovely people. My only complaint is all the little plastic bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Also could use hooks on back of bathroom door. Was a great place to stay, I felt safe and comfy. Food was mostly great, excellent greens and veggies, lots of variety. Woukd stay here again.

I would not recommend this hotel. The quality of the food was poor and the restaurant was so dirty we actually decided to not eat on site. The rooms smelled musty & the pullout sofa was filthy. The public washrooms were disgusting and not maintained throughout the day. The music and the noise around the pool was unbearably loud and obnoxious. 4 out of 8 of us in our group got sick. There are also bet limited chairs around the pool and the beach towels are threadbare and dirty Despite this supposedly being an all inclusive resort we were told every day they ran out of supplies to make mimosas and sangria when we tried to order them. Overall, it was a huge let down. We definitely will not be returning.

Would not recommend this property. The pictures do not show the real ware and tear of the property. They need to do a complete makeover, new linens, towels. The chairs and couches were dirty, mold around the sink and the slider doors are rusted and don’t lock.

We stayed here for our daughter’s fifth birthday and had a wonderful time. The property itself is very nice! Most of the workers are very helpful. My only dislike is the quality of the food and the lack of accommodations regarding the food. The food was subpar and lacked flavor. Otherwise, the property is safe and clean. The facilities were well kept. Our daughter enjoyed the kids club and the kids waterpark. Our room was bug free and spacious. The beach was nice as well, ocean front property. The Vet team was awesome and was no additional charge. I would recommend this hotel for families, we went during low season, so it was very quiet and not that many people. Despite the food, we are hoping to be back someday!

The interior rooms mainly shower spaces could use some cleaning and servings for dinners pretty small and waiters don’t really check in for refills or if there’s anything else needed which can be nice in some settings to not be bothered but overall great place

The Expedia representative at the property was outstanding. The restaurant food was absolutely amazing—we enjoyed it so much that after indulging for seven days, I felt inspired to hit the gym as soon as I got back! The staff across the board, from housekeeping and serving to the front desk, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay truly enjoyable.
