Pine Ridge Cabin - Secluded Cabin with Hot Tub

Located high in the forest less than 2 miles from the heart of Mohican, this secluded 2 bedroom log home features a hot tub & outdoor stone patio fire ring surrounded by towering trees. The covered front porch offers stunning views of the forest below. Inside you will find a stone fireplace, a main-floor bedroom, and a second-floor lofted bedroom that overlooks the living room. Enjoy your days hiking or taking in the scenes at the state park, floating down the Mohican River, or just spending time at the cabin.
Kitchen: Range, microwave, refrigerator, standard coffee maker, pots & pans, dinnerware, and cutlery to accommodate 4 people.

Living Room: Couch, Loveseat, TV, propane fireplace

Main floor Bedroom: Queen Bed

Loft Bedroom: Queen Bed

Outside Amenities: Propane BBQ with Propane Provided, Hot Tub, Deck, Polywood dining set for 4, Stone Patio with fire ring (firewood is not provided, we recommend you bring your own or purchase from local gas stations/dollar stores).

Driveway notice: The driveway is long and steep. 4-wheel drive/All Wheel Drive is recommended year-round, especially in the winter. Minivans seem to have the most trouble getting up the driveway.

The Security Deposit of $250 is a hold, not a charge, on your Credit/Debit Card from a day before check-in until 7 days after checkout. Your card is only charged if I claim damage during that timeframe. If I do not claim damage during that timeframe, the hold will be automatically released from your card on the 7th day after checkout. Since the card account is not technically charged, just held, the hold that you see on your online statement may just disappear instead of showing as a credit. I will always contact you to discuss any damages prior to charging your card. Please ignore any other posts that state we will collect the security deposit at the house. This is inaccurate and there is currently no option to remove that language. Sorry for any confusion.

Anniversary Get Away
Beautiful property. Loved that the hot tub was not under roof and could enjoy the night sky while sitting in it. Enjoyed fire in the nice fire pit area. The cabin was very spacious and updated, had all the amenities needed. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Thank you for sharing your property!

Perfect Mohican getaway!
We chose this property for its proximity to Mohican and the hiking/mountain biking there. The seclusion and privacy of the cabin was the secondary draw. This cabin was by far the cleanest and best-maintained property weā€™ve ever stayed in. It is perfectly private yet minutes away from the SP or grocery. The terraced patio is a great way to enjoy the property itself! Our host, Drew, was responsive and very friendly when helping us with changes to our reservation or questions about the property. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the cabin and its host! Do pay attention to the need for a car (and driver) that can handle a steep and switchy gravel drive. Additionally, road noise, while nothing that detracts from the location of the cabin, is something we noticed at times. Overall, noise and light pollution were minimal, and we heard nothing in the way of neighbors.

My husband and our two dogs stayed at this cozy cabin during the summer months. It was just the right size for us and the backyard space was great - especially the patio. The property was located a close distance from town and other outdoor activities in the area. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Vacation Spot
The cabin was absolutely perfect! The pictures are exactly as it looks and it seems larger than it is. When we were outside you barely heard the traffic since it was back so far. When it mentions that you need 4 wheel drive, they are not kidding, in order to get up the two hills. It was an adventure each time for us. We would definitely stay here again.

True to pics and description. Nice and secluded. Very clean. Kitchen stocked with whatever u might need to cook including seasonings/ oil/ Utensils etc. Hot tub worked well...we were unable to get temp any lower than 104 degrees despite settings on panel to lower temp and us giving it an hour , hoping it would lower enough for the pre teen kiddo... Lastly, You are expected to strip the bed linens yourself, place in hamper and then carry upstairs hamper downstairs, not a big deal for us but some might think thats overkill. Overall...would stay here again in future..

The cabin was just as described and was very clean. We would definitely recommend this to family and friends. It was in a great location, close to attractions but also felt secluded. Only recommendation would be to get the Zevo bug traps to help with small bugs.

2024 Total Eclipse!
My husband and I brought our dog and drove from Indiana to be in the path of totality for the eclipse! Not that it will ever matter again to anyone ever booking this cabin, but we had an excellent view of it from the front and back of the cabin! It was very clean and cute. The yard and back deck with fire pit and hot tub was amazing. We saw a lot of cool birds in the woods. You can hear the traffic from nearby roads, but you are at the top of a long driveway so it is still very private, and only a couple of minutes from town if you need something. Host responded promptly to an inquiry I had on the way there and was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend!!!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay! Everything was as advertised. We loved the hot tub especially. The cabin feels very secluded, but is also within minutes of grocery stores and restaurants. Canā€™t wait to come back!

We spent two nights at the property and had a great time. The cabin was clean, well maintained and complete with all the amenities listed. Despite colder weather than expected we managed to keep two seven year olds outside and occupied with nature. :)

We wanted a quick winter get-away and this property hit the mark. We had a last minute request to check in early and the owner was very accommodating and quick to respond. That evening we had quite a bit of snow and the drive was plowed and ready for us in the morning. We have zero complaints and have already recommended this property to a friend!

Loved everything about the cabin and property with the only exception being the steep driveway on an icy snowy day.
