Hotel was in need of maintenance. Bathroom had chipping paint and the bathtub was peeling and stained. The shower head was moldy. Rust on towels from towel rack. When we entered the room was hot and took a while for the AC to cool it down.

Only stayed one night but i was pleasantly surprised of my stay at such a low price. Bed was super comfortable, water pressure in the shower was fantastic!! I didnt get the chance to try breakfast or anything like that, but they have a really nice breakfast area, and even a little lounge up front. When I first got there, the guy at the front was very personable and conversational, very very nice. I was pleased with my stay here, and will keep it bookmarked for next time. ❤️

For a VERY inexpensive, short stay, this hotel works. The towels are bare thread, with holes; the carpets are in dire need of cleaning, even just a good vacuum; the family that runs the hotel obviously live there and cook very odiferous foods; the front doors are not ADA compliant (don't know how they get around that little law). The "free" breakfast consists of cereal, orange juice and coffee. No refrigerator or microwave in room; there is a community microwave in the lobby. In Louisiana, you need ice, the ice machines were inoperable. The location is close to fast food dining and walkable to downtown Ponchatoula (only good points)

We checked into this hotel and checked out less than 2 hours later, after a room change. Walls filthy, beds with cigarette/burn holes, roaches, food or something on the carpet in room, bad smells in room/hall/elevator, people camped on back porch drinking and smoking, AC’s poorly functioning, windows in room so dirty that you could not see through them, mystery stains on soft cushions, hand smudges on mirrors in “clean” room, rusty fixtures, and more. I was traveling alone with my underage son, and the conditions of this hotel were so bad that I did not even ask for a refund, but just needed to get myself and my son out of that hotel before dark. The state of this hotel is not consistent with the Wyndham name. Suggest on site corporate visit. General travelers passing through this area should stay away from this hotel, I do not believe that we are the target audience.

Hotel smelled like wet socks. The rooms were dirty. There was laundry left in my room. The breakfast was only Raisin Bran and cheerios. Terrible excuse for breakfast. I should have just gone elsewhere.

The rooms are very dated, stained floors and tubs, rusty towel holders, corners of walls missing, My husband saw roaches on the wall in the eating area. We had a problem with someone staying next to us blaring their tv all night. We were told there were others that also complained. We ended up leaving very early morning. We were told that we would get a comp room today but never heard from anyone . Not a working phone in room and they moved us to a new room their was no phone. I used iron and rust came out on my Easter blouse. Not happy at all and we will never return.

False advertising and smells extremely bad
First problem i had with it was i paid extra for a two bedroom suite and what they call a two bed suite is nothing more than a two bed room.. not even close to the pictures. No sitting room .. no couch.. no anything close to resemble a suite.. Second thing was the smell of weed mixed with air freshener was overwhelming. Very strong smell that smelled like they were trying to cover up the skunk smell. Definitely do not recommend this place at all.
