Had I known that Extended Stay America had exterior corridors and doors to access the rooms I would not have booked my two day reservation through Expedia. Itā€™s an unsafe choice for someone traveling alone. Next time I will look more closely at the photos of the property. I contacted Expedia to see if I could cancel the second day. Expedia contacted the Extended Stay manager and he/she denied my request to check out a day early, with Expediaā€™s approval!!! The roomā€™s large window was located on the wall facing the exterior corridor. That made it such that you wouldnā€™t want to open the draperies day or night especially on the ground floor where my room was. There were no sheer curtains to let light in and maintain some privacy during the day. This made for an extremely dark room even on a sunny day. In addition the lighting was insufficient with one lampā€™s light bulb burned out. Front desk said it couldnā€™t be replaced until the next day, at which time I would be out of the room - no safe to put a few valuables, so I declined. Will never book at an Extended Stay American again despite the rate.

Rented a handicap accessible room for my son after surgery. Room was ok but rather small for two people. We did not use any services so no interaction with staff other than check-in and check-out.

Good overnight stay
Very good place to stay for an overnight stay. I basically went in slept, and left early the next morning. The room vas very clean which matters most. Had a free breakfast and left. If youā€™re looking for a good place to sleep this place works, if youā€™re staying for multiple days itā€™s a little lacking in comfort items.

One of the best hotel stays my son and I had on an across the Country Father/Son Roadtrip. Full nice kitchenette, super spacious and comfy room, great staff, excellent location. I would highly recommend for any type stay for near Louisville.

Never again!
Our original hotel was over booked so the hotel tried to accommodate us with another extend stay hotel only 7 mins away from our Original location when we arrived we had to pick up the phone to speak with a representative of the hotel on the phone my husband and I where told that they were unable to accommodate us unless it was a multiple night stay after speaking with 2 hotels.com representatives and trying to find us a new hotel the representative had us go to another hotel extend a stay 20 mins away from our location after we have done told the agent we no longer wanted to try and stay or deal with any extend a stay he insist this hotel would work. When we arrived to that extend a stay we were told the same thing they could not accommodate us until 8am in the morning! After 3 hours later we where finally able to check in to a new hotel at 3am but we had to check out at 11am this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had and when speaking with the representatives at the hotel they where completely rude and disrespectful! I love to stay at extend a stay when I do choose a hotel! But this was absolutely horrible and they where going to leave my husband and I out with no where to stay in a place that was 7 hours away from home.

I had a horrible experience. There were bugs, the furniture was cracked & broken. They had to give us another room when we first checked in because it was not clean. In the second room there were bugs, the towels were dirty. I was extremely unsatisfied
