We are visiting Louisville to attend a Louisville Women’s Basketball game at the Yum Center. It’s super convenient to stay at the Galt House. The garage is self parking adjacent to the hotel. If you stay in the East Tower, the pedestrian bridge is on the 3rd floor to the venue. Then, several dining options are onsite. We felt safe with the crowds, who were elderly, walking to and from the venue back to the room at night too.

We had an awesome stay at the Galt House Hotel. The view was great. The food was great. The staff was so friendly! We were even upgraded to a suite! The skywalk to the KFC Yum Center was so convenient. We will be back!

Very disappointed. Room was dirty. Went to use ice bucket and it still had the bag and melted ice water innit from previous guest. We had a suite. The closet area was un vacuumed and very dusty and dirty. Got moved to another room. Which had used ore press on nails all in this closet. Shower was terrible. 1st time staying and will not be back

Great location, spacious but basic rooms
location is top notch, walking to many great bars and restaurants, also by the water. The hotel staff was alright, didn't seem to want to go over and beyond as such (which is OK). We had a suite, so the room was huge with a big balcony, but surprisingly basic (the rooms were super old). The lobby and common areas seem upgraded, not the rooms. There are many good options in the area, but location-wise i would recommend this.

Amazing front desk staff!!
The front desk staff was AMAZING. We were upgraded to one of the residents suites and it was perfect for our group. Lots of space! Really needs an update and a good deep clean but it served its purpose and the balcony and view were amazing.

They moved my reservation from the west tower (view) to the east tower no view and away from the restaurant. They “upgrade the room” to compensate for the inconvenience, but on Sunday (1:00am) fights and disturbances happened in the same floor I was. Police was called. And there was a bad smell of mariguana throughout the floor. Very disappointed with this place.
