We got there late the evening of our reservation. There was no parking available. We had booked a king bed room, when we got to our room it hadn’t been cleaned. They then moved us to a queen bed room. When leaving today we found a cockroach crawling on the floor.

Overall good
Overall our stay was good. We had car issues on the way and i called to let them know we wouldn't be checking in until after the concert we were going to. Then i got a call during the concert from them that i wasn't able to answer. We got to the hotel to check in and even though we had pre-paid for a king bed they only had queen. Nothing was done about it....we were not compensated in any way for the mistake. Was told that a queen room is the same price as a king room.... this i do not believe. The lication was convenient to our needs and the hotel was clean. My only issue would ve the fact we should have been charged then for a queen room instead of a king..... cause let's be real they can't be the same price or all of the rooms with a single bed would be king. They could have given us breakfast to make up for it since there was no continental breakfast but i believe it was $15 a person. We didn't eat there but went out instead.

The room was clean and staff was friendly. However I specifically booked this hotel because it was downtown and I thought we could walk to restaurants and bars but we didn’t feel comfortable walking around the hotel after dark due to some questionable characters also our last night which was a Saturday night people were yelling in the hallways and opening and shutting doorways all night. We had to be up very early for a flight and we didn’t get one minute of sleep Due to the noise level inside and outside

Louisville Bucket List Stay
We stayed for two nights to visit the Louisville sites, including Distilleries, Louisville Slugger Museum, Churchill Downs, etc. The location was very good and the rate was reasonable. We also took advantage of our IHG membership for free breakfasts. The hotel was clean and modern but there were some maintenance issues that need attention. e.g. bathroom door didn't latch, coat hook broken off, ice maker out of order, back entry door not operational with room key. The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. On one morning, the dining area was understaffed - only one person to wait/clear tables and also do the cooking. She was especially friendly and helpful!

Not horrible, but it was cheaper for a reason. Sketchy area in downtown. Towels were super cheap and starting to fall apart, need to be replaced. Comforter was torn on the end. Room smelled a little odd.
