Located 1.5 hours from Mpls. on private 3 acre wooded lot with 300 ft of lakeshore and large dock for your boat or rent pontoon boat and dock at your own place.
Sleeps 14 comfortably and has an extra nightly fee for additional people over 10. New kitchen with all new appliances and great cooking space with two amazing large granite islands.
Canoe & Kayak available to use. Plus, launch your boat at boat landing nearby to put on the dock. The dock has the largest sundeck/fishing platform allowed in WI. Great fishing off dock. Quiet lake for family activities: swimming, tubing, waterskiing, boating, rafting, just relaxing.

Roomy with beautiful lake view
We enjoyed the spaciousness of this property. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and pots/pans. There were several small appliances, which we did not utilize, but they were provided. We enjoyed the access to the lake for fishing, swimming, canoeing and lots of pontoon boat rides.We had an issue with the extra charge for guests over 8, which we noticed in the description has now been updated to state that guests over 8 persons are extra. It was not in the description when we booked. Amy did refund part of our extra person charge which we really appreciate. We had multiple messages via VRBO website which she always responded to. When it was time to check in at 4:00, we still had not received directions for checkin. We called her and she gave us the instructions over the phone. All was well. We had an issue with no power in the kitchen outlets. The stove and refrigerator worked, but not the microwave or any of the outlets. We used extension cords. We called her and left a message on the evening of our first night, but did not hear back from her. When we called the next morning, she apologized and contacted the neighbors who came over and reset the circuit breaker. Everything worked after that. The location is great. It is very close to the golf course and we also enjoyed mini-golf which was about 25 minutes away. We also enjoyed the multiple seating areas outside In summary, we enjoyed our stay and the issues we had were all resolved.

Awesome host. Awesome property. Awesome location. Host was easy to work with. House and property provided more space than the pictures do justice. Even with 11 people we never felt crowded inside or out. It felt like a little private slice of wilderness.Quick and easy access to the grocery stores in town. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The perfect family getaway.
This beautiful home was well-equipped, spacious, and clean,. The weather was perfect and lot of fish were caught. Loved being close to the water overlooking from the fire pit. Many special memories were made at this place. Thank you for letting us have the opportunity to enjoy with our little family.

Be aware that the pet fee is over and above the total you pay at checkout. This is a very nice place to stay and the owner kindly returned the shoes I left there.

The house is very comfortable and relaxing, and the property it's on is lovely. The host has made sure there are plenty of things to do, including kayaking, swimming, cornhole, ping pong, and lots of others. Overall, we'd be happy to come back.

A perfect spot to relax and enjoy family time in a beautiful setting
The property was wonderful. Amy was amazing, very accommodating and accessible. Kitchen was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this property. For families with Toddlers (we had one not quite 2) there were gates, but you may wish to bring one of your own to secure stairway area. Fishing and firepit were so enjoyed by our entire family. Amy deserves Premier Host status!

We enjoyed the cabin and the property very much. Surprised by how big and beautiful the cabin was. Most of our meals were out on the deck and the firepit was very nice. I would difinitely recommend this property to other people.

College Roommate Reunion
Lucky View Lodge was the perfect setting for 4 college roommates to get together for the first time in 50+ years to celebrate birthdays and catch up. It was wonderful -- and just as it looks in the online images. It has a beautiful view on a serene lake with great accommodations. We each had our own bedroom, and made use of the screened-in porch, the comfy living and dining rooms, and ate lunch every day on the attached deck. The recently remodeled kitchen was impressively stocked with whatever you might need for cooking in. We grilled and ate in two nights and treated ourselves to dinner out at the Balsam Lake Lodge for the third night. We really enjoyed sitting around the firepit or out on the dock, chatting and watching all the lake activity, especially all the bald eagle, osprey and great blue heron fishing and flying over all day every day. They were amazing! Our host Amy was in touch with us every day to make sure we didn't need anything which was much appreciated. We all loved it and would visit again in a heartbeat!

My family and I had a great time here at the Lucky View Lodge. We spent most of our time looking over the lake and enjoying campfires and pontooning around the lake. My grandsons loved fishing off the dock as well as swimming from the pontoon and dock. Everyone had a wonderful relaxing 5 days. We will recommend the lodge to friends. Thanks for a great mini vacation.

Wonderful Family Weekend!
Kitchen had everything we needed, was large enough to move around and plenty of seating. Great deck with large table and fire pit overlooking the lake was awesome. Had no trouble with sleeping space for our large group. Kids had so much fun discovering the hammock. Great weekend getaway!

We loved how fully equipped the kitchen was. Loved the pull out pantry. Kids played ping pong every day. Internet was good so my son could sit on the screen porch and work. Quiet with spectacular sunsets. Great for a large group.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucky View Lodge! Cabin was amazing! Very spacious, comfortable, and communication with the host was great. We enjoyed fishing (having fish fry with what we caught), bonfires, swimming, floating in our tubes in the lake, going to the towns Lucky Days festival, and just relaxing. The view looking out to the lake was amazing! We really could not have asked for a better place! 😊

Awesome!
My family group of five (5) just spent a wonderful five days at this property...simply excellent! We truly enjoyed everything about it. The property is perfectly located for a quiet and relaxing time on a beautiful lake. We spent time fishing...and catching a lot, relaxing, watching the Bald Eagles, beavers and ducks on the lake. The house is very clean and comfortable, the kitchen is fully appointed (lots of spices too), the furniture and the beds are great. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to "get away", fish and just plain relax!
