Lovely old horel with great character
A lovely old hotel in a great position in Ludlow. The room was clean and tidy and had everything you needed although we were 1 bath towel short which was quickly rectified but is was small but ok for 1 night. We thought charging for parking was a bit penny pinching

The room was smaller than anticipated, and there were a few design features which made it feel even more cramped than it needed to be. A few simple modifications would have made much better use of the limited space in the room.

Spacious room in the modern extension.
Great location, but disappointingly characterless room. We booked the feathers because it looked amazing in the photos. But the room we were allocated (141) was out the back, in a modern extension. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious & had everything we needed. A few things just let it down - the water glasses in the room weren’t clean (lipstick marks and fingerprints). The bathroom floor tiles had grubby grout that just needed a good scrub and there was the start of blank mould in the silicon at the bottom of the shower. All very easy to remedy. There were nice touches, like robes & slippers, a nice selection of teas in the room and the bed was super comfy.

This is a wonderful if rambling hotel with lots of cosy seating and an excellent restaurant. The rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. This was our second visit and we will be back again in the future.

Historical building which has been heavily invested in to upgrade. Bathroom lovely, lift slow but steady. We loved the history behind the hotel, we did not love the parking which was VERY tight, nor the fire alarm blaring at 11pm, or the amorous couple in the room beside us. We heard every episode! Beds comfortable as were the pillows. Rooms were serviced daily. Meals were available. I feel an exhaust fan to the bathroom would be a terrific improvement

We stayed at the Feathers as we went to Ludlow Races. All of the staff were friendly, well organised and very accomodating. Room was spacious with a large bed. English breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Would use again.

Comfortable stay. Cosy double room was as described. Check in reception and room staff were very helpful. Great location in the centre of Ludlow and we managed to get a parking space. Only negative was a lot of steps along corridors to the room.
