The apartment was built in the former stable of the farm. Its historical elements have been carefully integrated: the vaulted ceiling (known as "Prussian capping ceiling"), which is supported by a 300 kg cast iron column, has been preserved in its original form. The old stable-doors have been refurbished and used with the original iron fittings to become particularly rustic room doors. The towel holders do not come from any hardware store; instead they are made from the original calf harness, and a nice old iron window now serves as a bathroom mirror.
The "fireplace" is the largest apartment, measuring 68 square meters in size. It has a daylight bathroom with a walk-in-shower, a large storage room as well as two rustic, rural, separate bedrooms. There, as a special design element, cast-iron windows give a view into the living room. In the living-dining room, there is a fully equipped country kitchen with dishwasher, oven and fridge. There is a historic sewing machine present which reminds one of the ancient times, but for today's needs there is also an LED satellite TV with DVD player. For a healthy indoor climate, there are handmade, open-pore terracotta-tiles, under which there is modern floor heating. While sitting on the large sofa made of real leather, you can look through your floor-level windows and doors out onto your terrace and enjoy a wide view to the south - or to the crackling fire of your cozy fireplace.
But with us you not only rent a beautiful apartment in a lovingly restored country house, but also an unusual concept: Because we wish to offer dinners at the big table in front of the fireplace in the main house on.
