Level access throughout, great lodge with a view of the lake. Inside the lodge was spotless and quiet with no road or rail noise in spite of the proximity of the motorway and railway. Really convenient location and 24hr reception make this a really good option for business or pleasure

Never book using hotels.com app.
When booking this stay the app jumped to the next available date which i had not noticed because i had not put them dates in the search bar...i instantly rang hotels.com and explained what had happened and they refused to refund or change the date of my stay....so unfortunately the rooms were booked and paid for so it was left empty...never booking through hotels.com again...a massive firm like that could not offer any assistance even though their app jumped from my planned dates which they could see to a different date. Outrageous behaviour 😳. Father and son trip was ruined. Thanks.

Overall the place was good. The views are beautiful and the best part. Everything you need is in the room (except oven) Rooms are slightly outdated but fine for couple nights. Beds are comfortable and few shops near by for food incase you need it. It has the leisure centre which is free access. Nice but slightly outdated.

Had a nice stay but receptionist was rude
The place is beautiful and the rooms are nice. However, I didn't not like behaviour of one receptionist at front desk. I just asked whether is there any lake view room available. She started with rudely telling no we are full and then she started telling, we have members who pays a lot of money so we give them those room first, and you just booked the room 10 days before. Our members have booked a year before. Well I didn't want that information with so much rudeness and arrogance, a simple no would have worked. On top of that, heater was not working in the main bedroom which we realised in night. after informing it reception they gave a spare electric heater and told it will be fixed next day morning. However, it was not fixed till we left the place which means for next 3 days. Apart from these I have really enjoyed my stay.

Amazing. There are no words to describe the atmosphere views and the lodge. Its like something you would see on instagram and think i wish that was me. Blown away by the staff and the lodge. We will definitely be returning here.
