Beautiful property in a stunning ground. Bedroom was clean and very comfortable. Restaurant and bar are very good but prices are extortionate for size of portions.

We stayed two nights at the Chateau de Pizay. The first thing you notice is the beauty of the Chateau and the grounds. You are surrounded by vineyards. The garden is extraordinary. Our room was clean, large and with a patio. Everything is above and beyond. The pool is great with lots of chairs and lounges. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Chateau. Breakfast is very good and you have the option of having it delivered to your room. Dinner is Michelin star level food and superb service. Wine list is affordable with lots of options but we always picked wine from the vineyard. This is a wonderful place to stay and eat.

Not a chateau stay at all, misleading, you stay in a dependance side building in a split level room where you have to stumble down stairs to go to the bathroom at night. Chateau main building is for conferences and meetings Not for a romantic get a way

Outstanding! Romance is in the air at this Chateau. Staff is totally customer service orientated. Our room was large with a sitting area, 18th century furnishings, fully equipped with modern amenities, fireplace, and french doors opening to the vineyards. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. There is a self-guided walking tour in the vineyards. You have a relaxing spa, pool (water was not warm enough to swim), and tennis courts as well. Winery is on site and for €10 you keep the glass and can enjoy at your leisure by self-pouring 12 different bottles that they make. They have bikes for rent which would highly recommend to tour the beautiful countryside. Make reservations for dinner when you book your room. The restaurant is deserved of a Michelin Mention at least but feel more like a ⭐️. The standard menu is interesting with an international over french flair and the pasty chef is sure to delight you. Make sure you include breakfast as it is your choice of room service or a buffet which is so bountiful including fresh squeeze orange juice, eggs, proteins, and lots of fresh breads with homemade jams. The only thing this Chateau is missing to be a five star is the bell staff to take your luggage. This is a hidden gem especially for the price, it is a MUST stay on your list.

Upmarket hotel with vineyard attached
It could have been so much better! Our accommodation was some way away from reception in a different block (and we had one of their better suites) and there was quite a trek to breakfast, again some way away from reception in a separate accommodation block. We were unable to eat in their restaurant on arrival since it was fully booked - but no prior indication given that we needed to book. The staff in reception were somewhat indifferent and simply pointed to our room as being 'over there'. The location and the extensive grounds/garden were good and the attached wine tasting etc building was very good - and the staff therein were, in contrast, helpful. For what should have been an upmarket hotel, the level of service and attention was disappointing.
