Great Motel

Came up for a night’s stay prior to going to Mackinac Island with my brother. It’s a quaint little hotel. We both love lighthouses…so…couldn’t have a better location than right across from one! Our room had zero view of the lighthouse, bridge, or the lake(s), but, that had absolutely no bearing on my feeling towards my stay. I’m in my room to sleep! Staff (front desk) was extremely friendly. We even had a very nice chat about how she had a twin also (I’m a twin). Would definitely stay here again!

The local eateries are a ripoff. $21 for a breakfast buffet in downtown Mackinaw City!! The Lighthouse was very nice and quiet.

Our stay was short...too short. Location provided spectacular sunset views of the lighthouse, straits and Mackinac bridge. No breakfast is a minor drawback.
