There was a lot of good such as lots of breakfast choices, beds were comfortable, room was clean. The hotel is a little dated for a Best Western. The air conditioning was horrible. Varied between moldy smelling stuffy air to ice cold and there was no way to adjust the unit. In the south you need an air conditioner to remove moisture from the air and this unit did not do that at all.

Our room was flooded because of the air conditioner. Trash outside, noisy clientele, and the key cards only worked once per day. Had to walk clear around the property to get a new key every return.

The room we stayed in had a leak that came down the wall in the bathroom when the room upstairs used there shower. And I don't believe that they weren't aware of it before our stay. Other than that the room had a musty smell/ dog smell in it that was unpleasant, we did change rooms and the second room was better.

Came to check in. Front desk clerk seemed to care less. She asked if I wanted to be on the 2nd floor, I said yes. She failed to tell me until I couldn't find the elevator that that there is not one. Carried my bags upstairs to my room I think 267, The smell when I walked in was awful, I thought perhaps the air hadn't been on. Went to sit down, stained comforter. Go back downstairs to tell clerk. She actually asked me had I disturbed the bed....Does that mean they weren't going to clean it? Was given a room on the 1st floor. Smelled much better. But the room was bargain basement. I sprayed the room with the lysol I had--thank goodness. It was only one night, I had an event that I was in town for so I knew I wouldn't do anything but come to shower and sleep. I woke up the next morning and opened the drapes......HOLY SUGAR!!!! The smell was horrific. I look up and MOLD. Yes, not only on the ceiling and wall but on the sheer drapes....Those drapes must not have been changed since Georgia hosted the Olympics. Horrified, I quickly took a shower, packed up and left. Went to front desk to check out...Nobody there. I just dropped my cardkey in the little box and walked out. Oh by the way, there is a club adjacent to the hotel. Yes, like a nightclub. Take a guess what that was like coming in from a fundraising event to that. I booked because it was well rated on this and my AAA site. Don't do it if you're handicap, don't smells--it's a smoking hotel.
