Enjoyed our stay. Staff and service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and it was convenient to have a Starbucks in house. Beds were comfortable and room was clean, but my only grievance was that the bedding did not smell fresh. Other than that, everything was top notch. Delicious warm cookies are a nice perk as always, and love that they have an allergy free cookie option. Would definitely stay here again.

Doubletree hotel here in the People's Republic of Madison, WI does not accept United States currency. Not for the restaurant, not in the gift shop, not in the Starbucks, and not at the front desk. When I asked how much to check out at 12? They said they don't allow late check out. I told the manager their cash policy is un-American and I will not be back. And I write letters. And here I am. But Orbitz is awesome.

I can’t believe my room had a window that was unusable. Why would anyone want an “inside cabin” type experience? What is the reason I had to either flash the entire pool area or keep my room with no natural light? Hideous and unacceptable. Also, the coffee/food service hours are not as advertised on your website. No service of any kind between 10/11-4pm? You advertise breakfast lunch and dinner with a Starbucks. Really disappointing and not at all what I expected or paid over a thousand dollars for.

The room was spotless, the hotel was sparkling top to bottom. Front desk staff was outstanding. Loved the free cookies and bottles of water that greeted us. The wiring of our television set was loose so had to fiddle with it a little but that was the only negative. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and did not cost that much. No free coffee in the lobby however. There was a Starbucks there instead. ☹️ Overall a great stay.
