This was my 1st time staying at this property. I enjoyed about my stay. The room & property felt very clean. The bed & pillows were comfortable. The two members of the housekeeping staff that I did interact with were very kind & friendly. I was able to check-in early, which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast had a nice variety of both beverages and hot & cold breakfast food options. I liked that the breakfast was included with my stay as well as the parking was free too. The breakfast dining area had a lot of seating & the windows really let in the natural light. The hot tub was nice too. The property was just right up the road from Target, Petsmart, and Menards. As much as I did absolutely enjoy my stay at this specific property, I do feel that there is some room for improvement too. I feel as though the property overall could use an aesthetic upgrade as it seems quite a bit outdated compared to other Hampton Inn & Suites in Madison that I have stayed at. The hot tub kept turning off too unless you get out of the hot tub to turn on the jets from a switch on the wall. It isn’t convenient to keep getting up to turn it back on. There should be a switch next to the hot tub itself. There wasn’t an attendant that I saw in the dining room to refill items that were low or to clean the tables for the next guests to sit at. I wish the front desk staff would have been a bit more friendly too especially when it came to my request for an early check-in for a special occasion.
