We had to ask for a different room because the one we originally assigned wreaked of weed and cigar smoke, and we had specifically asked for a NON-Smoking room. The front desk staff was very accommodating and relocated us to a different room.

DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR SAFETY CONCERNS
I wasn't expecting much but a clean and safe place with decent customer service (CS) at this price point. But those minimum requirements were not met. We parked our large vehicle in the back to accommodate other guests. Since it was after 10pm, I walked around to the front door which had a glass panel broken for some time. In the lobby, there were buckets on the floor from water dripping from the ceiling (safety/clean?). My friend came in from the backdoor without having a key (safety?). The front desk told me I had 2 rooms with 2 queens but I only had reserved one room. He wasn't listening to me at all. I called Hotels.com and the front desk told them he couldn't do anything about it. It's not like this place was full and they were holding a room for me (CS?). The mirrors on the wall screams, "rent me for the hour". The towels were not clean. My friend slept on the bed that squeaked every time he flipped over. The nonsmoking room smelled (clean?) of smoke (they better not charge me for this). Microtel is usually a decent place to stay. NOTE: THIS IS A FRANCHISE OWNED BY NOORPO HOTELS LLC.

There were sketchy people hanging around outside and I wasn't sure my car would still be there in the morning. There was one man working at the desk and it took some time to find him when I checked in. The room was small and stuffy and I don't think the air conditioner was working. I ended up leaving and not staying the night.

Firstly I had to go to reception MULTIPLE times because my room key was not working I got a total of 7 room keys because they were constantly not working okay cool ! BUT THEN the day of check out (I only stayed one day ) THEY CALLED MY ROOM AT 8:58am stating that we had to be out by 11 LIKE WE DIDNT KNOW THAT ! Not only did they call my room they set there clocks 15 minutes ahead of the actual time so you can leave earlier than check out they came 20 minutes before 11 and stated that it was check out time and we needed to leave immediately it was 10:40 and I just got out the shower because I was preparing to leave I will never be staying here again .
