Room was fine, bed a little hard but adequately comfortable. Biggest issue was initial entrance door from the street to the hotel which was on the 3 floor. Once we figured this out, all was fine.

The hotel takes a couple of upper floors in a residential building in the center of Madrid. Inside it’s modern, very clean and comfortable boutique hotel with very modern bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. But once you step out and cross from the hotel and into the stairs you are in the old decrepit building with a ridiculous old elevator that hardly fits 2 people and if you have luggage it becomes almost impossible to fit. The area around is touristy, noisy and not very clean, but is conveniently located.

Can't pick a better location! We stayed during the National Day of Spain, and the daily free concerts/shows were right around the corner, with Flamenco shows, folk and rock bands, wow. But once inside, it's very quiet. We walked everywhere. The bedroom is small as common in this area, but the bed is very comfortable. Loved the spacious bathroom. There is also a safe, a small fridge, and kettle for hot water! We made tea every day! It's entirely updated, although in an old building with an old elevator. Very charming. All the girls at the front desk (usually staffed from 8am till midnight) that we met were friendly, super helpful. We borrowed their bottle opener to enjoy some local wine in our room. Just perfect!

El hotel por fuera está feo pero cuando entras es muy bonito y cómodo ,la ubicación es excelente pero es zona peatonal y el taxi te deja dos cuadras del hotel y tienes que llevar tu mismo las maletas ,si se lo recomiendo

The room was great - good bed and shower and very quiet with the balcony doors closed. Outstanding location just off Plaza del Sol. Hotel occupies 3rd and 4th floor of a multi tenant building which is kind of unusual and the elevator is 8 square feet (2 people & 2 bags cannot fit into it). No free coffee (€1 and you have to pay with your phone using a QR code) but many coffee options nearby. All in all a good place to stay.
