Located on a 1.2 hectare property, the gîte faces north-east with a lawned terrace at the edge of a body of water. The free access, on the other side of the stream, allows a southern exposure on 3000 m2. The cottage is accessible by a concrete driveway, from the private parking lot, located on the top of the property. The owners' main house is 60 m from the gîte, the 2 houses are completely independent.
The cottage is an old 18th century bread oven, completely renovated. It includes on the ground floor a bathroom with shower, sink and wc. In the other adjoining room there is the sitting area and the kitchen area. The fireplace is not usable. The downstairs bedroom is upstairs. Wi-Fi and HD flat screen TV are available. The mobile phone network is delicate in the house. A VMC ensures the circulation of air and prohibits the consumption of tobacco in the lodging.
The presence of mallards, water fowl and herons, permanent inhabitants of the valley on the two bodies of water, should be noted. 200m from the road, the cottage has a privileged location since it is located at the start of many hiking trails (hiking and mountain biking), directly accessing the national forest of Grimbosq (450 hectares) and the Orne valley, protected area.
