The pub is quirky and very old, rooms are a bit tired but comfy bed and fantastic view Staff really friendly, breakfast great, dinner good, food is very plentiful and good! Would definitely stay here again

Had to walk through kitchen area to get to rooms. Wasnt given our own bathroom. Heard mice in ceiling. Towels provided were soft. Coffee and water in room was nice

A hidden gem on the East coast
Admittedly we where a bit suspicious when we couldn’t contact the staff the day before or even early on the dag of arrival but then on things went very smoothly indeed. The room was perfekt and we didn’t object to the air condition a bit in the sweltering heat. The view feromon our window over the old Thames barges were soothing if you’ll excuse the expression.Before check in and moving in we had a nice cold seafood platter. We were not hungry for the rest of the rest of the day. The next day we could enjoy the breakfast which was included. It was somewhat late at 9, but on the other hand it was really a FULL English breakfast so it saved us a lunch. The house is old which menas there are no lifts but water that get a little boost at timmes, but that’S part of the package,I supponerad I can really recommend this place and I would gladly come back again

Very quirky pub and restaurant. Good value. Good location with lovely view. Staff very friendly. The food was excellent with very good menu.
