Spacious Condo in Schuss Village at Shanty Creek

This unique 3 bedroom 2 bath condo in Shanty Creek is truly a one of a kind property. Perched above the Pro Shop The Penthouse is in the heart of Schuss Village and all it has to offer.
Our 1500 sq ft of living space makes it one of the largest condos in Schuss Village. The wall of windows floods the unit with tons of natural light. Two private decks offer outdoor living space, a chance to grill out and amazing 360 degrees views of Schuss Mountain Golf Course and Schuss Mountain; pictures just cannot capture the beauty. The great location offers golfing right outside your door and downhill skiing just steps away. The Schuss Village indoor pool and hot tub is a short walk as well.

With three bedrooms the Penthouse560 is one of only a few properties with 3 bedrooms in Schuss Village. The Master bedroom and master bathroom are on the main level just off the main living area. The Master bedroom offers a king size bed with plenty of space. The second bedroom is also located just off the main living space and offers a king size bed. A (narrow) spiral staircase leads to the third loft bedroom which offers two additional queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped to be able to cook and serve meals. Enjoy a meal at the dining table overlooking the 18th green.

Shanty Creek Resort offers 4 championship golf courses and 2 mountains with over 50 runs for downhill skiing. Our guests have access to multiple indoor and outdoor pools throughout the resort through the guest pass we include. Dining, shopping, and alpine tubing are all amenities that can be found in the resort. The free Shanty Creek shuttle will pick you up right outside your door and transport you to any of the villages and even downtown Bellaire to Shorts Brewing Company or shopping.

Located in the heart of Northern MI, The Penthouse is in close proximity to Traverse City, Mackinaw, Charlevoix and Petoskey which means 4 seasons of enjoyment.

Quick weekend trip
We brought friends up to show them why we love the area, especially Torch Lake. Our condo was nice, a good space for our group. Our host was very responsive and the condo was as advertised. We did have trouble with figuring out the tv, but this wasn’t a big deal. Would recommend the space.

It was the perfect location for our group while we stayed there - easy drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Torch Lake & Mackinac Island. A beautiful view of the 18th hole. We enjoyed watching the golfers come in. A great location for a golf trip and seeing other sites. The condo met our needs.

We were very happy with this property. Was thrilled to get there and have the family show up the next day . The guys golfed 2 times. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the golfers come in . It was a nice location to go to traverse city , Mackinac torch lake . The kids even went canoeing . It was great having a washer and dryer . All the towels were nice to have . Thank you

The house was nice, beds comfortable, and pillows were great. We had an issue with showers draining but the owner took care of it as soon as we let him know. The owner was in contact regularly to make sure everything was ok. The only negatives I would give would be the shower heads not being great, the knives not being sharp, and the golf course cutting the grass at 6am. Once we closed the windows & turned on the AC though, we couldn't hear any noise from the outside. Loved having a washer & dryer in the unit, trails nearby, and multiple pools to choose from. Would recommend.

Great location. Golfed 3 days, visited Traverse City, Mission point (breweries and wineries), Charlevoix, Boyne City, Bellaire (Shorts Brewery) and others. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We had a great visit. Check in was simple, host answered any questions we had quickly. The king beds were very comfortable. The loft is good for teenage kids but would not recommend for small children due to stairs (the host was clear about that in the listing). There was a wonderful view and the condo was well equipped. I also appreciated that there was simple decor, and the space was free from unnecessary notes/instructions that vacation rentals often have now. Checkout instructions were simple and quick which was also greatly appreciated.

Perfect winter ski getaway
We loved our stay here. We were a group of two adults and three teens and we found that the place had more than enough room for all of us. Beds were super comfortable! My favorite part was all of the wonderful light that came in from the big windows. Great views of the surrounding property and the ski hill. Our kids loved the loft area, but I would caution anybody with little kids that the spiral staircase is definitely made for older children. We will definitely book again!

Our stay was wonderful! Check in was easy, everything was there that we needed and the whole place was very clean. We wish we had gotten any snow but that had nothing to do the house! The kids loved the big closets that they turned into secret forts and the spiral staircase while scary to the adults were exciting to the kids! Had a few issues with wobbly dining chairs and thr key to the pool but any problem we did have Scott was very quick to respond and very helpful even tho it was over Christmas. Would stay here again, love how close it is to the lodge and loved the VERY comfortable beds!!

Post-Labor Day Golf Trip
Condo sits above Shuss Pro Shop overlooking 18th green. An entertaining apre-round spot to watch incoming groups. Condo was very comfortable though lots of steps to enter and to access loft. Low volume time of year, which was perfect. Played 4 courses (all nice) within 15 minute drive.

Golfers Paradise!
This 2nd floor Penthouse was perfect for our needs. Our Host, Scott, was a great communicator. He text or called immediately on some questions I had. This was a fantastic place for our husbands to watch golf from our decks! On one side of the condo, the deck faces the 1st Hole & the other deck faces the 9th Hole. They were in heaven! They played golf several times, and talk about handy! The pro shop is downstairs, the golf carts are steps away, we had it all. There’s also a grill at the pro shop, & our guys enjoyed the hot dogs. Myself & my sister in law spent time shopping in the cute town of Bellaire, and Traverse City. We all had a wonderful lunch at the Pelican’s Nest, (suggested by Scott 👍), and is very close to our condo. We had a dinner at Elk Lake, also not too far way. We wish we had more than 4 nights to stay. Our free time flew by, as we had a reunion at Walloon Lake, which is only a short drive. This condo is centrally located for fun in every direction. We plan to come again and hopefully stay longer next time. It has it all, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 4 TV’s plus all the other daily needs. We give this 5 Stars 🌟 .

Such a beautiful place
This condo is amazing it comfortably sleeps 8 people and it was super clean. The condo sit right on the golf course so the scenery was gorgeous especially with the morning coffee on the balcony. It is near Charlivox, Traverse City, and Torch Lake (about 30-45 minute drive to each location).
