We stayed here to go to a show at the August Wilson theater. The theater is just a few steps away. It was perfect. There are a few other theaters less than a block away as well. We had drinks and appetizers in the bar. The view of Times Square from the bar was amazing.

This property was nice. The view of Times Square from our room was amazing. However, the room was hot, we tried to turn on the air and it went up to 85 degrees. We had to open the windows turn off the thermostat and it only got down to 78 degrees. If they can regulate the room temperature I would give it 5 stars.

Great location. Reasonable price. Only issue was that the HVAC was a little wonky (our room would not go down below 80°F without propping the windows open overnight to let the 30°F outdoor air offset the warmth).

Staff was very friendly. Didn’t have a problem the first few days, however one day coming back in after being out most of the day we smelled an odor. It smelled like sewage? Little by little it got worse so I called front desk. They immediately changed my room and also came to check. The smell had gone away but I was very appreciative that they still came to investigate and make sure all is well. The hotel is close to time square, restaurants, basically whatever you need literally less than 5 min walk. We had a great time and will use this hotel again.

Great location but room thermostat was useless

Lovely hotel, the room was clean and the hotel itself had a large bar & restaurant area. We stayed on the 30th floor and didn't hear any traffic noises. My disappointment was with the heating system and elevators. It was between 35-45 degrees outside when we stayed. The thermostat was set for 65 degrees, but the temperature in the room was 80 degrees. It was very, uncomfortably hot. Also, the hotel did not seem to have enough elevators for the size of the hotel, because there was always a long wait for the elevators.

This is a top hotel. Modern chic with lovely lounge music at lobby/bar area. Great views at certain rooms. At least three very good restaurants on same block. The 1 subway station is conveniently a block away.

My entire family stayed here the 2nd week of January. My husband, my mom and our 2 kids enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. There was one gentleman that worked behind the desk that gave both of my kids coloring books and crayons. Anytime I needed anything I would talk with him. We are planning a trip back to M Social soon.

Convenient location! Walking distance to subway, great options for food. Disliked the elevator. Only 2 elevators to get to main lobby. One elevator was down; terrible line up to get onto elevator. Also elevators to access floors- not all functioning! Long wait times, especially during check out!
