Mannum is a small, river-centric town based in South Australia, based off the Murray River. It is fundamentally a town that revolves around the river-boating trade, and in recent years, has become a hot spot for tourist looking to escape into a historic and romantic part of Australian culture. It is also known as the river-boating capital of Australia. In the late 1800's, Mannum became the birth place of Murray River boating and became, as in the modern day, central to their economy.
