Quiet stay
Hot tub in the room was wonderful. The room was super clean and staff changed out our towels. Everything was super fresh. Bed was comfy, large and room was quiet.

Young man at the front desk was very nice. However the room was dingy, the wallpaper was stained and peeling. The room had a balcony that overlooked the pool but the door was off it’s track so you couldn’t open it, it’ll the door also gapped because it wasn’t on the track right which caused the room to smell heavily of chlorine. We paid extra for the sweet with a whirlpool in the room which would have been relaxing except when we turned on the jets after filling it the jets shot out a nasty brown liquid, so we were unable to use it. Honestly would have called Expedia and canceled the room and gone somewhere else if not for the fact that by that time it was 11pm and we just wanted to get some sleep. Which leads to our last complaint that apparently the suit sits over top of the pool equipment or something because there was a loud hum and the floor and bed shook/vibrated off an on all night. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Just that the building is showing its age. The bathroom was very small and didn't have a sink (the sink was outside of the bathroom). The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, not much of a selection of items.

It's obvious that the property has completed recent upgrades, visible in the room which look nice. Overall, there was an appearance of cleanliness especially in the sleeping area of the room however the pest / bug control box sitting in the entry to the stairwell was a bit unsettling. The planter with damp soil sitting in the cardboard box in the corner of that stair area wasn't a confidence builder. Staff assured us that the pest control bug boxes were a preventative measure, told me to "read the reviews" and in fact, we had no visible encounters with pests. As other reviews mention, the new beds are sort of rock hard. Lobby smells musty when you first enter, that was the only location where that was noticeable. We didn't eat breakfast there but noted fresh fruit, yogurt, other options including bulk food containers (peanut butter, jug of syrup, gallon of milk) available for guests to self-serve from. Staff we met in the morning were super friendly.
