Our stay with Trace and Robbin was wonderful. We stayed eight nights and after the first few days we started calling the little house home. There is a living room, small dining table, queen size bed, bathroom, and kitchenette in the home. The space is accessible via the sidewalk that wraps around the house and has a separate entry from the main house. Checking in was so simple. A code was provided to a lock box that housed the keys. We were able to enter quickly and no contact was needed. Parking spaces are provided in front of the house so you never have to worry about parking on the street. The location of the home is only a few minutes from downtown Mariposa. It was so convenient to get breakfast items from the local grocery store and make meals on site. There is a toaster, hot plate, refrigerator and coffee maker available to use. The refrigerator has an ice tray. As part of our stay, we had access to the property’s backyard which had a variety of flowers, plants, and fruit trees as well as a hammock, fire pit, and pool. The backyard is shared with the property owners so we saw them out and about from time to time. Both Trace and Robbin are super friendly and fun to chat with. Trace gave us great Yosemite Park advice and keep us updated on park notices. He also offered to make us margaritas almost every night! Needless to say, our stay was amazing and I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay near Yosemite to consider the Robbins Nest.
