OK Stay
The property was convenient to get to after crossing the border. The property is old but there is evidence of upgrades. The bathroom was very nice. However, the lighting in the room was not good. OK for an overnight stay. Staff was very pleasant.

I liked the positive customer service of the hostess and custodial staff. However, the entire property (inside and out) looks as if there has been no maintenance updates in 20 years.

Excellent stay
Great stay for the price. Beds were extremely comfy, room was clean. Only suggestion would be if you know the room is reserved maybe turn the AC on when in a heatwave. Checked in later at night and room was very warm, it did cool down quick enough and had a good night sleep - so only a suggestion. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Port Huron.

It was good for what it was. And what it was, was a cheap place to study overnight while on the road. The bathroom door (138) wouldn't close the whole way, and when we tried to, it was very hard to open!!! The AC unit was loud, but importantly, it worked The room was very clean and the breakfast, while basic, was a welcome including in the price

Reception was very friendly & helpful, the room was newly remodelled and the internet worked well. The bathroom was good but items such at the toilet seat, shower head and bath spout etc needed tightening as they felt very loose. The bed was comfy although the bright light outside the room shone in through the curtains all night. Overall a comfy spacious room in an area that felt safe.

We stayed one night planning to cross the border the following morning. The hotel was nice with some updates. Very quiet place to get a good rest. Minor inconveniences was there was no bath mat, only one wash cloth, no shampoo/conditioner, no hair dryer. It was too late at night when I figured this out to ask the front desk. I’m sure they would have had these things to supply us. Kathy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when we checked in.

Horribly run
The people who worked there were nice but the management is just awful. They also do some sketchy stuff like cancelling your reservation and if you made it online and re reserve so they can make more money. They said it would save me money but it lost me money. And it ended up being a multiweek dispute. So some nice staff, but horribly run. Also had bugs coming out of the sink the entire time.

The area was a nondescript suburban area . It’s behind a Riteaid which is on the main road. The exterior is ugly. Part of it is painted black. The stairs were so old that the paint is all peeled off and the underlying wood looks splintered. The second floor is tiled and some are broken. However, the inside was nice. It had been renovated and it showed. The shower was not great, though. Caulk was all over the tub and the fixtures in the shower were older. Later in the evening my husband went out for food. When he returned, around 9 pm, People were loitering in the lot smoking pot. That was a little intimidating.

Very clean and comfortable room
I stayed here to visit with family in town so I didn't spend a lot of time in the room. That being said, the room was VERY clean and comfortable. I literally did not want to get out of bed the first morning! My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough towels for a multiple night/person stay. They only clean every few days (which is fine and I could have called the office for more) but please leave enough towels initially. I didn't eat the free breakfast so I can't comment on that. I will say this place looks a little sketchy (it's behind a Rite Aid that I wasn't quite sure was open every time I drove by). But I was quite pleased with this hotel. It was very close to the expressway and stores. I would stay here again if I was in town.

Staff was friendly. Kathy is great. She gave me pointers for parking at beaches and such. Room was clean and comfortable. Property is quiet. They could do better on the breakfast. we went to a restaurant due to the limited choices, but everything was lovely all in all. I would stay here again.

Two people booked - had to beg for second complete towel set - shower extremely difficult to turn on, minimal toiletries there 1 one tiny bar of soap, two packets of shampoo…. Bremote for tv didn’t work… Breakfast was an apple or tiny muffin with waffle maker not hot enough. Substandard for a Days Inn by Wyndham. We were counting on typical for the chain, and were disappointed. Staff were very good, however. The place was not ready for guests.
